गुमला में पुलिस की बड़ी कामयाबी: ट्रक के केबिन में छुपाकर लाई जा रही 172 पेटी अवैध अंग्रेजी शराब जब्त, राजस्थान का चालक गिरफ्तार

गुमला, 8 अप्रैल 2025 — छत्तीसगढ़ से झारखंड के गुमला जिले में अवैध रूप से लाई जा रही अंग्रेजी शराब की एक बड़ी खेप को पुलिस ने एक विशेष अभियान के तहत जब्त कर लिया है। पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह को मिली गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर की गई इस कार्रवाई में 172 पेटी अंग्रेजी शराब के साथ एक ट्रक चालक को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

गुमला थाना परिसर में आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान चैनपुर अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (एसडीपीओ) ललित मीणा ने बताया कि पुलिस अधीक्षक को 8 अप्रैल की सुबह 7 बजे यह सूचना मिली थी कि एक आयसर ट्रक (UP-22-BT-2910) छत्तीसगढ़ से रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र के रास्ते झारखंड में अवैध शराब की आपूर्ति करने वाला है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस अधीक्षक ने एसडीपीओ मीणा के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापामारी टीम गठित की।

टीम में पुलिस निरीक्षक महेंद्र कुमार करमाली, रायडीह थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार सिंह, पुअनि सूरज कुमार सिंह, सअनि धनंजय कुमार सिंह और सैट-11 के जवान शामिल थे। पुलिस ने भलमंडा इलाके में चेकिंग अभियान शुरू किया, जहां सुबह 8 बजे संदिग्ध ट्रक को रुकने का इशारा किया गया। चालक ने रुकने के बजाय वाहन को भगाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन पुलिस ने उसका पीछा कर बकसपुर गांव के पास ट्रक को घेरकर पकड़ लिया।

पूछताछ में चालक ने अपनी पहचान भगवाना राम, निवासी कलजिकीबेरी थाना सरवना, जिला जालौर (राजस्थान) के रूप में बताई। प्रारंभ में उसने ट्रक को खाली बताया, लेकिन जब वाहन को तौला गया तो वजन अधिक पाया गया। गहन जांच में ट्रक के फर्श में एक गुप्त बॉक्स बना हुआ मिला, जिसमें शराब की पेटियां छिपाकर रखी गई थीं।

जब्त की गई शराब में शामिल हैं:

• ब्लेंडर्स प्राइड: 43 पेटी
• रेड लेबल: 50 पेटी
• रॉयल स्टार: 79 पेटी
  (प्रत्येक पेटी में 12 बोतलें)

कुल मिलाकर 172 पेटी अवैध विदेशी शराब बरामद की गई, जिसकी कोई वैध दस्तावेजी पुष्टि चालक नहीं कर पाया।

पुलिस ने ट्रक चालक के पास से Vivo कंपनी का मोबाइल फोन, ट्रक, और समस्त शराब की पेटियां जब्त कर ली हैं। आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।

पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह ने इस सफल कार्रवाई के लिए टीम की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि शराब तस्करी के विरुद्ध अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा और इस प्रकार की अवैध गतिविधियों पर सख्ती से लगाम लगाई जाएगी।
