नेशनल हाईवे 23 पर भीषण सड़क हादसा: चालक को झपकी आने से स्कॉर्पियो पेड़ से टकराई, पांच लोग घायल

गुमला, 2 मई 2025 — नेशनल हाईवे 23 पर आज तड़के पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत पिंजरा डीपा (उमड़ा गांव) के पास एक तेज़ रफ्तार स्कॉर्पियो गाड़ी सड़क किनारे पेड़ से टकरा गई, जिससे गाड़ी में सवार पांच लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। हादसा उस समय हुआ जब चालक को अचानक झपकी आ गई और वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क किनारे स्थित सखुआ के पेड़ से जा भिड़ा।

घटना लगभग सुबह 3 बजे की है, जब सभी यात्री एक शादी समारोह से लौट रहे थे। दुर्घटना में बजरंग गोप, गोपाल साहू, चन्द्रमुनी देवी, सुरेश्वरी देवी और सुधेवती देवी घायल हुए। स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए घायलों को पालकोट उप स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पहुंचाया, जहां प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद सभी को गुमला सदर अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया। फिलहाल सभी का इलाज चिकित्सकों की निगरानी में जारी है।

स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों के अनुसार, घायलों की स्थिति स्थिर है लेकिन सतर्कता बरती जा रही है। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंच कर मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है और वाहन को जब्त कर लिया गया है।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि यह क्षेत्र अक्सर दुर्घटनाओं का गवाह बनता है और रात के समय भारी वाहनों और निजी गाड़ियों की तेज़ रफ्तार यहां आम बात है। ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से सड़क सुरक्षा के उपायों को और प्रभावी बनाने की मांग की है।
