जिला प्रशासन की अपील – नागरिकों से सिकल सेल एनीमिया परीक्षण के लिए आगे आने की मांग

गुमला: गुमला जिला, सिकल सेल रोग (SCD) के खिलाफ लड़ाई में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठा रहा है। यह जीन संबंधी रक्त विकार मुख्य रूप से क्षेत्र की आदिवासी समुदायों को प्रभावित करता है। जिले की लगभग 70% आबादी आदिवासी समुदाय से संबंधित है और यहाँ सिकल सेल के प्रसार दर काफी अधिक है (प्रत्येक 86 वें जन्म के साथ 1 व्यक्ति सिकल सेल रोग से संक्रमित होता है ) , राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य प्राधिकरण ने इस गंभीर समस्या की रोकथाम और सही समय पर पता लगाने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया है। रोग की गंभीरता को देखते हुए सरकार ने सिकल सेल रोग से पीड़ित मरीजों को दिव्यांगता प्रमाण पत्र के लिए पात्र घोषित किया है, ताकि वे आर्थिक और सामाजिक सुरक्षा के हकदार बन सकें।

सिकल सेल रोग लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं में हीमोग्लोबिन को प्रभावित करता है, जिससे तीव्र दर्द, अंगों का नुकसान और जीवन प्रत्याशा में कमी जैसी गंभीर स्वास्थ्य जटिलताएं हो सकती हैं। यह रोग खासकर उन इलाकों में अधिक देखा जाता है जहां वंशानुगत विवाह ( कानूनी विवाह ) का चलन अधिक है, जैसे झारखंड के कई जिले , इस क्रम में, जिला प्रशासन ने “कुंडली मिलाओ ना मिलाओ, सिकल सेल जांच जरूर कराओ” अभियान की शुरुआत की है, जो SPMCIL कोलकाता और स्वास्थ्य विभाग के बीच समन्वय के साथ संचालित हो रहा है। इसका उद्देश्य 0-40 वर्ष की उम्र के जिले की आबादी का लगभग 73% लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग का लक्ष्य है, गुमला जिले के लिए अनुमानित कुल 8,51,054 लोगों की जांच का लक्ष्य तय किया गया है।

इस कड़ी में 2 फरवरी 2025 तक, अब तक 7,04,736 व्यक्तियों की जाँच हो चुकी है, जो इस अभियान की प्रगति में उल्लेखनीय है। यह झारखंड के सभी अन्य जिलों से कही अधिक है। छुटे हुए सभी शेष नागरिकों से आग्रह है कि जिन्होंने अभी तक जांच नहीं कराई है, वे तुरंत अपने निकटतम सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, उपकेंद्र या जिला अस्पताल में जाकर अपनी जाँच करायें।

जिला प्रशासन का मानना है कि समय पर निदान से सिकल सेल से प्रभावित समुदायों में इसके प्रभाव को कम किया जा सकता है। नागरिकों से अपील है कि वे इस स्वस्थ्य अभियान में भाग लेकर अपने और आगामी पीढ़ियों के स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा करें। हमारा लक्ष्य है कि 31 मई तक गुमला के हर योग्य नागरिक का सिकल सेल स्क्रीनिंग संपन्न कर लिया जाए। यदि हम ऐसा करने में सफल होते हैं तो गुमला शत प्रतिशत नागरिकों के स्क्रीनिंग करने वाला झारखंड का प्रथम जिला बन जाएगा।
