गुमला, 17 मई 2025 | गुमला जिले में तेज रफ्तार और सुरक्षा नियमों की अनदेखी लगातार जान पर भारी पड़ रही है। हाल ही की घटनाएं दर्शाती हैं कि सड़क हादसे न केवल आम होते जा रहे हैं, बल्कि इनमें अधिकांश युवा और किशोर वर्ग शामिल हैं। हेलमेट न पहनना और वाहन चलाते वक्त सावधानी न बरतना, इन दुर्घटनाओं को और भी घातक बना रहा है।
हालिया उदाहरण के तौर पर, पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र स्थित सेमरा जंगल के पास एक 18 चक्कों वाला पाइप लोड ट्रक-ट्रेलर अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क पर पलट गया। गनीमत रही कि चालक और उपचालक दोनों सुरक्षित बच निकले। हादसे के कारण मुख्यतः वाहन की तेज गति और ढुलाई के बोझ का असंतुलन माना जा रहा है।
वहीं, बीती संध्या पंसो बाजार टांड़ के पास एक और हादसे में दो अज्ञात बाइक सवार युवक घायल हो गए। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, बाइक की गति अत्यधिक तेज थी और वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क पर पलट गया। घायलों को तुरंत गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा गया, जहां चिकित्सकों की देखरेख में उनका उपचार जारी है।
विशेषज्ञों और प्रशासनिक सूत्रों का मानना है कि अभिभावकों की लापरवाही भी इस बढ़ते संकट का एक बड़ा कारण है। नाबालिग और किशोरों को दोपहिया और चारपहिया वाहन देना, वह भी बिना लाइसेंस और प्रशिक्षण के, गंभीर परिणाम ला सकता है। ज़रूरत है कि माता-पिता अपने बच्चों को ज़िम्मेदार यातायात व्यवहार सिखाएं और सुरक्षा उपकरणों का प्रयोग अनिवार्य कराएं।
जिला प्रशासन ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे सड़क सुरक्षा के नियमों का पालन करें, हेलमेट व सीटबेल्ट का प्रयोग करें और तेज रफ्तार से वाहन चलाने से बचें। लापरवाही केवल एक क्षण की होती है, लेकिन उसका असर जीवनभर रह सकता है।
