गुमला में सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच अभियान तेज, अब तक 7.23 लाख लोगों की हुई स्क्रीनिंग

गुमला, 17 मई 2025 | गुमला जिले में सिकल सेल एनीमिया की पहचान और रोकथाम को लेकर स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा चलाया जा रहा विशेष अभियान लगातार प्रगति पर है। अब तक लक्ष्य 8,51,054 में से 7,23,507 लोगों की जांच पूरी कर ली गई है।

जिले में हुई जांचों से प्राप्त आंकड़े चिंताजनक तो हैं, लेकिन स्वास्थ्य विभाग की तत्परता भी सराहनीय है। जांच रिपोर्ट के अनुसार,

• 410 लोग सिकल सेल रोग से पीड़ित पाए गए हैं।
• 1,751 लोग सिकल सेल ट्रेट (वाहक) के रूप में चिह्नित किए गए हैं।
• जबकि 1,738 लोगों की रिपोर्ट अभी अपुष्ट (कन्फर्म नहीं) है और उन्हें दोबारा जांच की आवश्यकता है।

जिला प्रशासन व स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अपील की है कि वे सभी नागरिक, जिनकी अब तक जांच नहीं हो पाई है, निकटतम स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर पहुंचकर अपनी निःशुल्क जांच अवश्य कराएं। सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक अनुवांशिक रक्त विकार है, जिसकी समय रहते पहचान और प्रबंधन से गंभीर स्वास्थ्य जोखिमों को रोका जा सकता है।

इस अभियान का उद्देश्य न केवल रोगियों की पहचान करना है, बल्कि भविष्य की पीढ़ियों को इस बीमारी से सुरक्षित करना भी है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा दी जा रही यह सुविधा पूरी तरह नि:शुल्क है और हर व्यक्ति की सेहत के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है।
