भूगोल शोध के विविध पहलुओं पर विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय में विशेष व्याख्यान, डॉ. राम कुमार तिवारी ने साझा किए अनुभव

हजारीबाग, 17 मई 2025 | विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के भूगोल विभाग में शनिवार को चांसलर्स लेक्चर सीरीज के अंतर्गत “भौगोलिक शोध के कुछ आयाम” विषय पर एक शैक्षणिक व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता रांची विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व भूगोल विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. राम कुमार तिवारी रहे, जिन्होंने भूगोल के शोध कार्यों के विविध पहलुओं पर गहन विचार साझा किए।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत भूगोल विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. सरोज कुमार सिंह द्वारा स्वागत भाषण और विषय प्रवेश से हुई। डॉ. तिवारी ने अपने व्याख्यान में आंकड़ा संग्रहण, विश्लेषण एवं निष्कर्ष की विधियों पर विशेष जोर देते हुए कहा, “आंकड़ा ही किसी भी शोध कार्य की मूल कुंजी होती है।” उन्होंने शोध की प्रक्रिया को बेहतर समझाने के लिए जनसंख्या भूगोल, कृषि भूगोल, और भारत में भूगोल विषय की वर्तमान स्थिति जैसे विषयों पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा की।

डॉ. तिवारी ने अपने दशकों के शिक्षण अनुभव के उदाहरण साझा करते हुए यह भी बताया कि कैसे भौगोलिक अध्ययन की प्रवृत्तियां समय के साथ बदली हैं और आज डिजिटल टूल्स एवं डेटा एनालिटिक्स का महत्व कितना बढ़ गया है।

कार्यक्रम में पूर्व विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. कमला प्रसाद, डॉ. ओमप्रकाश महतो और पूर्व डी.आर.सी. सदस्य डॉ. प्रदीप कुमार सिंह की भी उपस्थिति रही। विश्वविद्यालय के पी.जी. सेमेस्टर 4 एवं 2 के विद्यार्थियों के साथ-साथ कई शोधार्थियों ने भी बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन शोधार्थी परीक्षित कुमार ने किया, जबकि शोधार्थी जितेन्द्र राणा ने डॉ. तिवारी का विस्तृत परिचय प्रस्तुत किया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में शोधार्थी चित्रदयाल महतो ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत किया। व्याख्यान का समापन राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ।

यह व्याख्यान न केवल शोध छात्रों के लिए ज्ञानवर्धक रहा, बल्कि युवाओं को सामाजिक और पर्यावरणीय सरोकारों से जुड़े शोध की दिशा में आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित भी किया।
