जदयू के भविष्य पर सबसे बड़ा सवाल…क्या पार्टी नीतीश के बाद भी प्रासंगिक रहेगी? या फिर धीरे-धीरे भाजपा की परछाईं बन जाएगी?

वक्त का हर शै गुलाम। वक्त के सामने कुछ भी स्थायी नहीं होता। न ताज। न तख्त। वक्त सबसे बड़ा खिलाड़ी है और जिसे हम-आप बड़ा खिलाड़ी मान बैठते हैं, वह भी आखिरकार वक्त का मोहरा होता है।

अब बिहार की राजनीति में एक नया मोड़ आया है। नीतीश कुमार ने खुद लिखा है-वे राज्यसभा जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने इसे अपनी मर्जी बताया। मगर सियासत के सिकंदर की भी हर मर्जी अपनी नहीं होती।

नीतीश का एग्जिट प्लान मोदी-शाह ने लिखा है। उसी मोदी ने, जिनके साथ कभी नीतीश ने मंच साझा करने से इनकार कर दिया था। तमाम इफ-बट के बावजूद आज की सियासत में मोदी-शाह सिकंदर हैं। अभी हर पत्ता उनकी मर्जी से खड़कता है।

हर किसी को पता है कि नीतीश पाटलिपुत्र से निर्वासित नहीं होना चाहते थे, लेकिन वक्त ऐसा निर्मम है कि वह निर्वासन को भी अपनी इच्छा बता रहे हैं।

नीतीश की विदाई के साथ बिहार की सत्ता की ड्राइविंग सीट अब भाजपा के पास होगी। चुनाव के बाद भाजपा के पास ज़्यादा सीटें थीं। फिर भी स्टीयरिंग व्हील नीतीश के हाथ में रहा। वे मुख्यमंत्री बने रहे। यह पहली बार नहीं हुआ था। अवसरों को साधने में माहिर नीतीश कभी इस पाले में तो कभी उस पाले में जाते रहे, लेकिन वह सबके लिए सिरमौर बने रहे।

नीतीश की सियासी यात्रा लंबी रही

उनकी अदाओं पर रीझने वाले लोग कहते थे-नीतीश वक्त को मोड़ लेते हैं। लेकिन सच थोड़ा अलग है। वक्त किसी का नहीं होता। हर शख्स उसका कैदी है।

नीतीश कुमार की सियासी यात्रा लंबी रही। और बेहद दिलचस्प भी। 1985 में वे पहली बार बिहार विधानसभा पहुंचे थे। निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार के रूप में। फिर धीरे-धीरे वे समाजवादी राजनीति के मजबूत चेहरे बने। 1989 में जनता दल के महासचिव बने और उसी साल लोकसभा पहुंचे।

दिल्ली की राजनीति में उनकी एंट्री यहीं से हुई। 1994 में उन्होंने जॉर्ज फर्नांडीस के साथ समता पार्टी बनाई। यह उनके करियर का टर्निंग प्वाइंट था। बाद में अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की सरकार में वे केंद्रीय मंत्री बने। रेल मंत्री के तौर पर उनकी पहचान मजबूत हुई। रेलवे मॉडर्नाइजेशन और सेफ्टी पर उन्होंने बेहतरीन काम किया।

लेकिन उनका असली अध्याय बिहार में लिखा गया। 2000 में वे पहली बार मुख्यमंत्री बने। सरकार सात दिन चली। मगर कहानी खत्म नहीं हुई। 2005 में वे फिर लौटे और लंबे समय तक सत्ता के केंद्र में रहे। कानून व्यवस्था सुधरी। सड़कें बनीं। स्कूल खुले। वह “सुशासन बाबू” कहलाने लगे।

इस बीच वह सियासत में पलटी मारने की भी अजब-गजब कहानियां लिखते रहे। 2013 में उन्होंने एनडीए छोड़ा। 2015 में राजद के साथ गए। 2017 में फिर भाजपा के साथ। फिर महागठबंधन। फिर एनडीए। गठबंधन बदलते रहे। लेकिन कुर्सी नहीं छूटी। किसी ने उन्हें पलटू कुमार कहा, किसी ने कुर्सी कुमार।

नीतीश दस बार बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री बने। यह अपने आप में रिकॉर्ड है।

अब सवाल है-उनके बाद उनकी पार्टी का क्या? जदयू की दूसरी कतार कमजोर है। उन्होंने कभी किसी को अपने बराबर नहीं बनने दिया। यह उनकी लीडरशिप स्टाइल का हिस्सा था या सियासी मजबूरी, वही जानें।

एकांत पसंद निशांत के लिए सियासत कभी उनकी जिंदगी के सिलेबस का हिस्सा नहीं रही

खबर है कि अब उनके बेटे निशांत कुमार राजनीति में आ रहे हैं। लेकिन निशांत का मिजाज अलग बताया जाता है। उनकी अध्यात्म में दिलचस्पी रही है। उन्होंने तकरीबन अपनी आधी उम्र जी ली है, लेकिन सियासत कभी उनकी जिंदगी के सिलेबस का हिस्सा नहीं रही। एकांत पसंद यह शख्स पॉलिटिकल बैटलफील्ड में कैसे उतरेगा? और उतरेगा तो कितनी दूर तक चल पाएगा-यह बड़ा सवाल है।

और उससे भी बड़ा सवाल-जदयू का भविष्य? क्या पार्टी नीतीश के बाद भी प्रासंगिक रहेगी? या वह धीरे-धीरे भाजपा की परछाईं बन जाएगी?

सियासत का एक उसूल है। हर दौर का अपना किरदार होता है। कभी लालू का दौर था। फिर नीतीश का। आज पाटलिपुत्र की धरती पर एक नए चैप्टर का आगाज हो रहा है। अंजाम क्या होगा? वक्त जाने…खुदा जाने।
