गुमला – गुमला जिले के बसिया प्रखंड स्थित नरेकेला में प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य सम्पदा योजना (PMMSY) एवं प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य किसान समृद्धि सखी योजना (PM-MKSSY) के अंतर्गत संचालित जलकृषि (Aquaculture) परियोजनाओं का निरीक्षण एक उच्च स्तरीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल द्वारा किया गया।
इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल में AFD (Agence Française de Développement) से जुलियन मिलियन, वरिष्ठ जलकृषि मानक विशेषज्ञ, ऑर्फी सिलार्ड एवं निधि बत्रा, भारत सरकार की राष्ट्रीय समन्वय टीम से आई. ए. सिद्दीकी, राष्ट्रीय मत्स्य विकास बोर्ड, हैदराबाद से मासूम वाहिद, झारखंड राज्य के निदेशक मत्स्य एच. एन. द्विवेदी सहित अन्य तकनीकी व प्रशासनिक अधिकारी शामिल थे।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने नरेकेला में प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य योजनाओं के अंतर्गत विकसित ग्रो आउट तालाब (Grow Out Pond) एवं उससे संबंधित जलकृषि गतिविधियों का गहन निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान मत्स्य पालकों से संवाद कर योजनाओं के क्रियान्वयन, उत्पादन स्तर, स्थानीय लाभ और चुनौतियों पर जानकारी प्राप्त की गई।
निरीक्षण के उपरांत अधिकारियों ने जलकृषि क्षेत्र में जिले के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए इसे अन्य जिलों के लिए आदर्श मॉडल बताया। साथ ही, उन्होंने जल संसाधनों के सतत उपयोग, महिलाओं की भागीदारी तथा ग्रामीण आजीविका को सशक्त बनाने में मत्स्य पालन की भूमिका को रेखांकित किया।
इस अवसर पर जिला मत्स्य पदाधिकारी कुसुम लता सहित मत्स्य विभाग के प्रतिनिधियों सहित मत्स्य विभाग के स्थानीय पदाधिकारी एवं लाभुक किसान भी उपस्थित थे।
