गौ-तस्करी का भंडाफोड़: गुमला पुलिस ने 45 गोवंशीय पशु, एक ट्रक व कार के साथ एक आरोपी को दबोचा

गुमला — गुमला जिले में पुलिस को एक बड़ी कामयाबी मिली है। सुरसांग थाना क्षेत्र के कोंडरा गांव के पास वाहन जांच अभियान के दौरान 45 गोवंशीय पशुओं से भरे एक ट्रक और एक कार को जब्त किया गया, जबकि एक तस्कर को मौके से गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए पुलिस ने बताया कि यह कार्रवाई गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर की गई, जिसमें छत्तीसगढ़ से झारखंड होते हुए लोहरदगा की ओर मवेशियों की अवैध तस्करी की जा रही थी।

गुप्त सूचना पर त्वरित कार्रवाई

गुमला पुलिस अधीक्षक को जब यह जानकारी मिली कि जशपुर बॉर्डर से एक ट्रक में बड़ी संख्या में गोवंशीय पशुओं को झारखंड के लोहरदगा जिले की ओर ले जाया जा रहा है, तो उन्होंने एसडीपीओ ललित मीना के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापामार टीम गठित की। इस टीम में सुरसांग थाना प्रभारी मुकेश प्रसाद टुडू, रायडीह थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार सिंह, एसआई सुरेश प्रसाद, सुनील हेंब्रम सहित सुरसांग थाना के सशस्त्र बल के जवान शामिल थे।

कार से शुरू हुआ संदेह, फिर ट्रक का भंडाफोड़

पुलिस द्वारा कोंडरा गांव के समीप नाकाबंदी कर वाहन जांच शुरू की गई। इसी दौरान एक मारुति सुजुकी कार पुलिस को देखकर तेजी से भागने लगी। सुरक्षाबलों ने पीछा कर कार को रोका और चालक को हिरासत में लिया। पूछताछ में उसने अपना नाम वीरेंद्र सुमन (पिता- स्व. बलदेव राम), ग्राम मटासी, थाना नारायणपुर, जिला जशपुर (छत्तीसगढ़) बताया।

कुछ ही देर बाद पुलिस को एक ट्रक आता दिखाई दिया। रुकने का इशारा करने पर ट्रक चालक ने वाहन को जंगल की ओर मोड़ दिया और सुनसान जगह पर छोड़कर अंधेरे का फायदा उठाते हुए फरार हो गया। पुलिस ने जब ट्रक की तलाशी ली तो उसमें 45 गोवंशीय पशु लदे मिले, जिनमें पाँच की मौके पर ही मौत हो चुकी थी।

पशु चिकित्सक द्वारा जांच, मृत पशुओं का अंतिम संस्कार

बरामद पशुओं को सुरसांग थाना लाया गया, जहां पशु चिकित्सक द्वारा उनका स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण कराया गया। मृत पशुओं का सम्मानपूर्वक अंतिम संस्कार किया गया। पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले की पूरी तरह से जांच की जा रही है और फरार आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है।

आरोपी को भेजा गया जेल

गिरफ्तार तस्कर वीरेंद्र सुमन से पूछताछ के बाद उसे न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर न्यायिक हिरासत में गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया। साथ ही पुलिस ने बरामद ट्रक, कार और सभी पशुओं को जब्त कर लिया है।

गुमला पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई को अवैध पशु तस्करी पर एक अहम प्रहार माना जा रहा है। पुलिस प्रशासन ने आमजन से अपील की है कि यदि उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार की अवैध गतिविधियों की सूचना मिले तो वे तत्काल प्रशासन को सूचित करें।
