गुमला में हाईटेंशन बिजली तार चोर गिरोह का भंडाफोड़, छह गिरफ्तार, चार फरार

गुमला, झारखंड — गुमला जिला पुलिस ने एक बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए हाईटेंशन बिजली तार चोरी करने वाले गिरोह के छह सदस्यों को रंगेहाथों गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है। छापेमारी के दौरान पुलिस ने चार बंडल चोरी किए गए बिजली तार, एक बोलेरो पिकअप वैन, एक मोटरसाइकिल और एक बड़ी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वजन मशीन भी बरामद की है। गिरोह के चार अन्य सदस्य अब भी फरार हैं, जिनकी तलाश जारी है।

खेत से चोरी करते पकड़े गए आरोपित, जंगल में भागने की कोशिश नाकाम

रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र के मुरूमकेला गांव के पास स्थित एक खेत से हाईटेंशन बिजली तार काटे जाने की गुप्त सूचना मिलने पर चैनपुर एसडीपीओ ललित मीणा के नेतृत्व में पुलिस ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए छापेमारी दल गठित किया। इस टीम में पुलिस निरीक्षक जितेंद्र राम, रायडीह थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार, पुअनि सूरज टोप्पो, सअनि धनंजय कुमार सिंह और शस्त्र बल के जवान शामिल थे।

जैसे ही पुलिस टीम घटनास्थल पर पहुंची, तार चोर गिरोह के सदस्य पुलिस को देख कर जंगल और पहाड़ी की ओर भागने लगे। पुलिस ने स्थानीय ग्रामीणों की मदद से चार आरोपियों—सुरेश उरांव, दीपक कुमार, ख्रीस्तयानुस एक्का और कृष्णा लोहरा—को मौके से दबोच लिया।

गिरोह ने कबूला अपना जुर्म, पहले भी कर चुके हैं कई वारदातें

पुलिस पूछताछ में आरोपियों ने न सिर्फ अपना अपराध स्वीकार किया, बल्कि यह भी बताया कि उन्होंने इससे पहले रायडीह थाना के परसा, सोपो, और गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के जोराग, टायसेरा, करौंदी और तेलगांव गांवों से भी बिजली तार चोरी की वारदातों को अंजाम दिया था। चुराए गए तारों को पालकोट और रांची में बेचा जाता था।

और दो आरोपी चढ़े पुलिस के हत्थे

गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की निशानदेही पर तपकरा (पालकोट) निवासी अनुज महतो और गढ़सारु (गुमला सदर) निवासी फादर लोहरा को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया। इनके पास से एक बोलेरो पिकअप वैन और चोरी के तारों को तौलने के लिए उपयोग में लाई जा रही इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वजन मशीन भी जब्त की गई।

दो थानों में दर्ज हुई एफआईआर, फरार अभियुक्तों की तलाश जारी

इस पूरे मामले में रायडीह थाना में दो और गुमला थाना में दो अलग-अलग प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि गिरोह के शेष चार फरार सदस्यों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए संभावित इलाकों में छापेमारी की जा रही है।

पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, यह गिरोह पिछले कुछ महीनों से सुनसान इलाकों में बिजली के हाईटेंशन तार काटकर उन्हें कबाड़ के रूप में ऊंचे दामों पर बेचने का काम कर रहा था। इस कार्रवाई से इलाके में तार चोरी की बढ़ती घटनाओं पर लगाम लगने की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है।
