गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में आज 15 जून 2025 को आयोजित होने वाले विश्व बुजुर्ग दुर्व्यवहार जागरूकता दिवस के अवसर पर आज शनिवार को उपायुक्त गुमला प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने इस दिवस को जिले के वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को समर्पित करते हुए सीलम स्थित ओल्ड एज होम का दौरा किया।
इस दौरान उपायुक्त गुमला ने वहां निवासरत वरिष्ठ नागरिकों से मुलाकात की और उनके साथ आत्मीय समय बिताया। उपस्थित वरिष्ठजनों ने मांदर की पारंपरिक धुन पर उपायुक्त गुमला का आत्मीय स्वागत किया और उन्हें अपनी पुत्री के समान स्नेह प्रदान किया।
उपायुक्त गुमला ने ओल्ड एज होम की व्यवस्थाओं का निरीक्षण किया और व्यवस्थाओं को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए संबंधित पदाधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने वरिष्ठ नागरिकों से संवाद कर उनकी आवश्यकताओं एवं कठिनाइयों की जानकारी ली तथा यह सुनिश्चित किया कि उन्हें किसी प्रकार की समस्या का सामना न करना पड़े।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया कि वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के प्रति व्यवहार में संवेदनशीलता बरती जाए तथा उन्हें आवश्यक सुविधाएं गरिमामय ढंग से उपलब्ध कराई जाएं।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन सदैव वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के कल्याण हेतु तत्पर है। यदि उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार की समस्या होती है, तो वे सीधे उनसे भी संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
इस दौरान मुख्य रूप से जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी आरती कुमारी सहित ओल्ड एज होम के कर्मी सहित अन्य सम्बंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी मौजूद रहे ।
