गुमला – गुमला जिला ने आज के आधुनिक युग में जहां एक ओर विज्ञान और तकनीक ने हमारी ज़िंदगी को नई ऊँचाइयाँ दी हैं, वहीं दूसरी ओर नशा जैसे सामाजिक अभिशाप युवाओं और समाज को पतन की ओर ले जा रहे हैं।

नशा सिर्फ शरीर को ही नहीं, बल्कि सोच, संबंध, सपनों और समाज को भी खोखला कर देता है। ऐसे में नशे से बचना सिर्फ एक व्यक्ति का नहीं, पूरे समाज का कर्तव्य बन जाता है। अधिकतर लोग किशोरावस्था में नशे की शुरुआत करते हैं तथा तनाव, अकेलापन एवं बुरी संगति किशोरों को नशे की ओर ले जाती है। मादक एवं नशीले पदार्थों का उपयोग बहुत शीघ्रता से एक लत में परिवर्तित हो जाता है तथा इनके उपयोग से सबसे अधिक मनुष्य का मस्तिष्क प्रभावित होता है तथा वह गुस्सैल और चिड़चिड़ा हो जाता है।

नशा करने वाला व्यक्ति समाज के लिए एक समस्या में तब्दील हो जाता है तथा इससे आर्थिक नुकसान और पारिवारिक कलह भी होते हैं। घरेलू हिंसा एवं अपराध आदि नशे के ही दुष्परिणाम हैं। एक व्यक्ति का नशा पूरे परिवार के सुख-चैन को छीन लेता है। नशा एक धीमा जहर है जो धीरे-धीरे शरीर और मस्तिष्क को खोखला कर देता है। यह केवल एक स्वास्थ्य समस्या नहीं, बल्कि आर्थिक, पारिवारिक और सामाजिक संकट का कारण भी बनता है।

नशे के कारण कई घर उजड़ जाते हैं, जीवन के लक्ष्य छूट जाते हैं और युवा पीढ़ी अंधकार में भटक जाती है। नशे में डूबा व्यक्ति अपने लक्ष्य और भविष्य दोनों से दूर हो जाता है।

नशे से बचाव हेतु प्रेरणा की राह:

• समय, साधन और शक्ति को सकारात्मक दिशा में लगाएं।
• खेल, संगीत, कला, सेवा या अध्यात्म को जीवन का हिस्सा बनाएं।
• स्वस्थ जीवन की सोच एवं प्रकृति से जुड़ाव रखें।
• ऐसे दोस्तों से दूरी बनाएं जो नशे की ओर ले जाते हों।
• यदि कोई नशे की चपेट में है तो उसकी उपेक्षा न कर परामर्श द्वारा उपचार कराएं ।

नशा पल भर का सुख है पर इससे उम्रभर का दुःख मिलता है। इसके खिलाफ जागरूक होना और लोगों को प्रेरित करना आज की सबसे बड़ी ज़रूरत है। हमें मिलकर एक ऐसा समाज बनाना है जहाँ युवा लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ें, नशे की ओर नहीं।

“नशा नहीं, ज्ञान का नशा – यही असली प्रेरणा है।”

नशे को छोड़ने के लिए आत्मप्रेरणा और परिवार का साथ अत्यंत आवश्यक है तथा खेलकूद एवं योग आदि नशे की आदत से बचने में सहायक होते हैं । किशोरों को नशे से बचाव हेतु स्कूलों को प्रहरी क्लब के माध्यम से जागरूकता एवं निगरानी के साथ उन्हें एक आदर्श एवं जिम्मेवार व्यक्ति बनाने में सहायता करनी चाहिए तथा अत्यधिक रूप से नशे से ग्रस्त व्यक्ति के इलाज में पुनर्वास केंद्र एवं चिकित्सकों की मदद लेनी चाहिए।

नशा एक व्यक्ति की समस्या ना होकर एक सामाजिक विकृति है तथा इससे लड़ने के लिए प्रशासन के साथ परिवार, स्कूल, पंचायत, जनप्रतिनिधि, सामाजिक संगठन एवं बुद्धिजीवियों को एक साथ एक प्लेटफार्म पर आने की जरूरत है।
