आपातकाल की 50वीं बरसी पर ABVP हजारीबाग ने निकाली मशाल यात्रा, छात्रों में दिखा तीव्र आक्रोश

हजारीबाग, 25 जून 2025 — देश में लगे आपातकाल की 50वीं वर्षगांठ पर अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (ABVP), हजारीबाग द्वारा बुधवार को मशाल जुलूस निकाला गया। वर्ष 1975 में तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा लगाए गए आपातकाल के विरोध में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों और युवाओं का उल्लेखनीय आक्रोश और सहभागिता देखने को मिली।

ABVP के विभाग संयोजक बाबूलाल मेहता ने कहा, “आज का दिन हमें उस अंधेरे दौर की याद दिलाता है, जब भारत के करोड़ों नागरिकों के मौलिक अधिकारों को कुचल दिया गया था। यह मशाल यात्रा युवाओं को जागरूक करने और लोकतंत्र की रक्षा के लिए प्रेरित करने का प्रतीक है।”

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि 11 लाख से अधिक नागरिकों को जेल में डाला गया और सरकार ने अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता तक पर अंकुश लगा दिया था। “हमारा उद्देश्य यह संदेश देना है कि कोई भी सरकार भविष्य में ऐसी लोकतंत्र-विरोधी कार्रवाई की हिम्मत न करे,” उन्होंने जोड़ा।

जिला संयोजक रुद्र राज ने अपने संबोधन में कहा, “25 जून 1975 को ‘आंतरिक अशांति’ का हवाला देकर आपातकाल थोप दिया गया। यह निर्णय सीधे तौर पर नागरिक अधिकारों पर हमला था।” उन्होंने बताया कि जेपी आंदोलन ने ही जनता को संगठित कर इंदिरा गांधी सरकार के खिलाफ आवाज बुलंद की। जयप्रकाश नारायण के “सिंहासन खाली करो, जनता आती है” जैसे नारों ने देशभर में क्रांति का शंखनाद किया।

मौके पर नगर मंत्री यशवंत कुमार ने कहा कि आपातकाल के दौरान 81 लाख लोगों को जबरन नसबंदी के लिए पकड़ा गया, जो मानवाधिकारों का खुला उल्लंघन था। “25 जून भारतीय लोकतंत्र के इतिहास में एक काला दिन है, जिसे युवा पीढ़ी को भूलना नहीं चाहिए,” उन्होंने कहा।

कार्यक्रम में प्रमुख रूप से प्रभात कुमार, साहिल सिंह, विवेक यादव, शिबू कुमार, मोंटी मंडल, पवन कुमार, पीयूष पासवान, राहुल सहित सैकड़ों कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे। पूरे आयोजन का उद्देश्य युवाओं को भारत के लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों की रक्षा के लिए जागरूक और संगठित करना था।

ABVP ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रम भविष्य में भी जारी रहेंगे, ताकि देश की नई पीढ़ी स्वतंत्रता, अभिव्यक्ति और अधिकारों की वास्तविक कीमत को समझ सके।
