गुमला में सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच अभियान ने पकड़ी रफ्तार, अब तक 7.79 लाख लोगों की हुई स्क्रीनिंग

गुमला, झारखंड — गुमला जिले में सिकल सेल एनीमिया की रोकथाम और समय पर पहचान के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान ने गति पकड़ ली है। 26 जून 2025 तक 8,51,054 के निर्धारित लक्ष्य में से 7,79,644 लोगों की जांच पूरी कर ली गई है, जो जिला स्वास्थ्य विभाग की एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि मानी जा रही है।

जांच में सामने आए प्रमुख आँकड़े

स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा साझा किए गए डेटा के अनुसार, अब तक की गई जांच में:

• 468 व्यक्ति सिकल सेल रोग से पीड़ित पाए गए हैं।
• 1,960 लोग सिकल सेल ट्रेट (वाहक) की श्रेणी में आए हैं।
• वहीं, 1,689 मामलों में जांच रिपोर्ट अपुष्ट (कन्फर्म नहीं) रही है, जिनकी आगे पुष्टि की जाएगी।

आम नागरिकों से की गई अपील

जिला प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने गुमला के उन सभी नागरिकों से पुनः अपील की है जिनकी अब तक सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच नहीं हुई है, वे शीघ्र अपने नजदीकी धरती आबा जन जागृति शिविर या स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में जाकर नि:शुल्क जांच अवश्य कराएं।

अधिकारियों का मानना है कि समय पर जांच से बीमारी की रोकथाम संभव है और गंभीर परिणामों से बचा जा सकता है। यह पहल विशेष रूप से जनजातीय और ग्रामीण आबादी को ध्यान में रखकर चलाई जा रही है, जहां सिकल सेल एनीमिया की आशंका अधिक देखी गई है।

जांच अभियान के ज़रिए न केवल संभावित रोगियों की पहचान की जा रही है, बल्कि लोगों को सिकल सेल एनीमिया के लक्षण, उपचार और बचाव के उपायों को लेकर जागरूक भी किया जा रहा है।

क्यों है यह जांच ज़रूरी?

सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक अनुवांशिक रक्त विकार है जो समय रहते निदान न होने पर गंभीर स्वास्थ्य जटिलताओं का कारण बन सकता है। ऐसे में समय रहते की गई जांच और परामर्श से इस बीमारी पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण पाया जा सकता है।

गुमला जिले का यह व्यापक स्वास्थ्य अभियान राज्य में एक मॉडल के रूप में देखा जा रहा है, जिससे अन्य जिलों को भी प्रेरणा लेने की आवश्यकता है।
