गुमला में निकली भव्य रथयात्रा: महाप्रभु जगन्नाथ, बलराम और सुभद्रा जी की नगर भ्रमण यात्रा ने किया जनमानस को भावविभोर

गुमला, झारखंड — आषाढ़ शुक्ल द्वितीया के पावन अवसर पर गुमला जिले में भगवान महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ (श्रीकृष्ण), उनके बड़े भाई बलराम और बहन सुभद्रा जी की भव्य रथयात्रा हर्षोल्लास के साथ निकाली गई। परंपरा के अनुसार यह रथयात्रा वर्ष में दो बार — मकर संक्रांति एवं आषाढ़ मास में आयोजित की जाती है, जिसमें श्रद्धालु पूरे जिले से उमड़ते हैं।

एकांतवास की पौराणिक कथा से जुड़ी परंपरा

मान्यता के अनुसार, आषाढ़ महीने में भगवान जगन्नाथ 15 दिनों के एकांतवास के बाद स्वस्थ होकर अपने भक्तों को दर्शन देने के लिए नगर भ्रमण पर निकलते हैं। इस अवसर पर वे अपने रथ पर भाई-बहन के साथ विराजमान होकर ‘मौसी बाड़ी’ (मौसी के घर) की ओर प्रस्थान करते हैं। यही परंपरा रथयात्रा उत्सव का मूल आधार है।

बरसात भी नहीं रोक पाई आस्था की बाढ़

27 जून 2025, शुक्रवार को गुमला मुख्यालय स्थित मालवीय नगर–करौंदी ग्राम के रथ टांड़ से रथयात्रा की शुरुआत हुई। रातभर की मूसलाधार बारिश के बावजूद सुबह होते ही श्रद्धालु अपने आराध्य के दर्शन के लिए उमड़ पड़े। मंदिर प्रांगण में भगवान जगन्नाथ, बलराम और सुभद्रा जी की प्रतिमाओं के दर्शन के लिए श्रद्धालुओं की लंबी कतारें देखी गईं।

संपूर्ण वातावरण भक्ति और उल्लास से सराबोर था। महिलाएं, पुरुष, वृद्ध, युवक-युवतियां और मासूम बच्चे पारंपरिक वेशभूषा में रथ खींचने के लिए उतावले दिखे।

मेले में दिखी लोकसंस्कृति की छटा

रथयात्रा के अवसर पर आयोजित मेले में चाट, पकौड़ी, चौमिन, मिठाई, गोलगप्पे और अन्य व्यंजन श्रद्धालुओं को आकर्षित कर रहे थे। बच्चे झूलों में झूलते नजर आए, वहीं युवा और परिवारजन मिठाइयां और प्रसाद खरीदते दिखे। पूरे जिले में उल्लास का वातावरण बना रहा।

नागफेनी में भी दो बार निकलती है रथयात्रा

गुमला मुख्यालय से लगभग 10 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित नागफेनी गांव, जो कोयल नदी के तट पर स्थित है, वहां भी रथयात्रा का विशेष महत्व है। यहां वर्ष में दो बार — मकर संक्रांति और आषाढ़ मास में — भगवान जगन्नाथ, बलराम और सुभद्रा जी की रथयात्रा निकाली जाती है। नागफेनी का पहाड़ी क्षेत्र, घाघ झरना और पिकनिक स्पॉट रथयात्रा के दिन भक्तों और पर्यटकों से गुलजार रहता है।

मौसी बाड़ी तक खींची गई रथ, 15 दिन बाद होगी वापसी यात्रा

रथयात्रा के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं ने रथ खींचते हुए भगवान को मौसी बाड़ी तक पहुंचाया, जहां वे 15 दिन एकांतवास में रहेंगे। इसके बाद ‘घुरती रथयात्रा’ के दिन, वे पुनः लौटकर अपने मंदिर में विराजमान होंगे।

गुमला में निकली इस रथयात्रा ने आस्था, संस्कृति और समर्पण की त्रिवेणी को जनमानस के बीच सजीव कर दिया। यह आयोजन न केवल धार्मिक आस्था का प्रतीक है, बल्कि लोक परंपराओं और सामाजिक एकजुटता का उत्सव भी बन चुका है।
