गुमला: आगामी 5 जुलाई 2025 को “वर्ल्ड बैडमिंटन डे” के अवसर पर गुमला जिले में एक दिवसीय बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता SMASHTHON-2025 का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस आयोजन की तैयारियों के तहत गुरुवार को गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने जिला इनडोर स्टेडियम स्थित बैडमिंटन कोर्ट में नवीन मैट का उद्घाटन किया।
इस मौके पर उन्होंने स्वयं बैडमिंटन खेलकर खिलाड़ियों का हौसला बढ़ाया और युवाओं को नशा से दूर रहकर खेलों से जुड़ने का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह के आयोजन युवाओं को रचनात्मक गतिविधियों से जोड़ने और नशामुक्त गुमला की दिशा में सार्थक कदम हैं।
खेल को जीवन का हिस्सा बनाएं: उपायुक्त
उद्घाटन समारोह में उपस्थित युवाओं और बच्चों को संबोधित करते हुए उपायुक्त दीक्षित ने कहा, “खेल केवल प्रतिस्पर्धा नहीं, बल्कि अनुशासन, स्वास्थ्य और जीवनशैली सुधार का माध्यम है।” उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि गुमला जिले में आने वाले समय में अन्य खेलों से संबंधित प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन भी किया जाएगा।
उपायुक्त ने स्पष्ट किया कि बैडमिंटन कोर्ट में लगाए गए नए मैट से खिलाड़ियों को अभ्यास के लिए बेहतर सुविधा उपलब्ध होगी और इससे नियमित रूप से प्रशिक्षण लेने वाले युवाओं को लाभ मिलेगा।
नशा मुक्त समाज की दिशा में पहल
गुमला जिला प्रशासन की इस पहल को नशा मुक्ति अभियान से भी जोड़ा गया है। उपायुक्त ने बताया कि “खेल एक ऐसा क्षेत्र है, जहां युवाओं की ऊर्जा को सकारात्मक दिशा में मोड़ा जा सकता है।” SMASHTHON-2025 के आयोजन से यह संदेश दिया जाएगा कि जीवन में ऊर्जा और जुनून को नशा नहीं, खेल दिशा दे सकते हैं।
आयोजन में रहा खिलाड़ियों और अधिकारियों का उत्साह
इस अवसर पर जिला खेल पदाधिकारी, बैडमिंटन कोच, खिलाड़ी और अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सभी ने SMASHTHON-2025 की सफलता के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धता जताई।
