पालकोट थाना में सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान: 35 चालकों को किया गया जागरूक, ₹63,000 का जुर्माना वसूला

गुमला, 23 जुलाई — सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने और नागरिकों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस अधीक्षक हरीश बिन ज़मान के निर्देश पर पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में मोटरसाइकिल जांच अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान के तहत मोटरयान निरीक्षक और सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने ड्राइवरों को नियमों की जानकारी दी और उन्हें सुरक्षित ड्राइविंग के लिए प्रेरित किया।

सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता पर विशेष फोकस
इस जांच के दौरान 35 वाहन चालकों को रोड सेफ्टी काउंसलिंग दी गई, जिसमें हेलमेट, सीट बेल्ट और ट्रैफिक संकेतों के पालन की आवश्यकता पर ज़ोर दिया गया। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इन उपायों से न केवल दुर्घटनाओं की संख्या घटाई जा सकती है, बल्कि आमजन की जान की भी सुरक्षा की जा सकती है।

‘गुड समैरिटन’ योजना की दी गई जानकारी
कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित लोगों को ‘गुड समैरिटन’ (Good Samaritan) योजना की जानकारी दी गई, जिसके अंतर्गत सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल व्यक्ति को ‘गोल्डन ऑवर’ के भीतर अस्पताल पहुंचाने वाले मददगार को ₹2,000 नकद पुरस्कार और प्रशस्ति पत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा।
सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने बताया कि सहायता करने वाले व्यक्ति को अस्पताल में अपना नाम दर्ज कराना आवश्यक है, ताकि प्रमाणित किया जा सके कि उसने पीड़ित की सहायता की है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य हिट एंड रन मामलों में भी मृत्यु दर को कम करना और लोगों को मदद के लिए प्रेरित करना है।

हिट एंड रन मामलों के लिए मुआवज़ा प्रावधान
टीम ने बताया कि यदि किसी अज्ञात वाहन से दुर्घटना होती है और व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हो जाती है, तो पीड़ित परिवार को ₹2 लाख और गंभीर घायल होने की स्थिति में ₹50,000 की सहायता राशि प्रदान की जाएगी।

जांच के दौरान ₹63,000 जुर्माना वसूला गया
अभियान के तहत जिन वाहन चालकों के पास जरूरी दस्तावेज जैसे लाइसेंस, इंश्योरेंस या रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं थे, उनसे कुल ₹63,000 की दंड राशि वसूली गई।

अधिकारियों की मौजूदगी
इस अभियान में मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह, रोड इंजीनियरिंग एनालिस्ट प्रणय कांशी, स्थानीय पुलिस बल के जवानों की विशेष भूमिका रही। सभी ने मिलकर अभियान को सफल बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया।

जिला प्रशासन की अपील
जिला प्रशासन ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पूर्णतः पालन करें और दुर्घटना की स्थिति में तत्काल सहायता प्रदान कर ‘गुड समैरिटन’ योजना का लाभ उठाएं।
