इतिहास लेखन में बदलाव संभव : प्रो. मुकेश कुमार ने विभावि में किया विचार-विमर्श

हजारीबाग, 23 जुलाई — विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के स्नातकोत्तर इतिहास विभाग में बुधवार को एक विशेष शैक्षणिक परिचर्चा का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें मगध विश्वविद्यालय के प्रख्यात इतिहासकार प्रो. मुकेश कुमार ने इतिहास लेखन में उभरते नए स्रोतों और उनके प्रभाव पर विस्तृत चर्चा की।

कार्यक्रम का आयोजन इतिहास विभाग की पहल पर किया गया, जिसका उद्देश्य इतिहास से जुड़े विवादों पर विमर्श कर विद्यार्थियों और शोधार्थियों को नई दृष्टि प्रदान करना था।

नए साक्ष्य, नया दृष्टिकोण

अपने व्याख्यान में प्रो. मुकेश कुमार ने कहा, “इतिहास कभी स्थायी नहीं होता। जैसे-जैसे नए साक्ष्य सामने आते हैं, पुराने निष्कर्षों की पुनर्व्याख्या की आवश्यकता होती है।” उन्होंने उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि हड़प्पा संस्कृति का जो दक्षिणी छोर पहले तक भगत्रव माना जाता था, अब दायमाबाद को इसके अंतिम बिंदु के रूप में स्वीकार किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि भविष्य में यदि और भी प्रमाण सामने आते हैं तो यह परिभाषा फिर से बदलेगी।

प्रो. कुमार ने मुगल सम्राट अकबर की सहिष्णुता पर भी सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि यदि किसी शोध में सांप्रदायिक दृष्टिकोण के प्रमाण सामने आते हैं तो इतिहासकार का दायित्व है कि वह दोनों पक्षों को निष्पक्षता से प्रस्तुत करे। “इतिहास का कार्य किसी एक धारणा को स्थापित करना नहीं, बल्कि साक्ष्यों के साथ संतुलन स्थापित करना है,” उन्होंने कहा।

विभागाध्यक्ष और विद्वानों की सहभागिता

परिचर्चा की शुरुआत विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. हितेंद्र अनुपम द्वारा विषय प्रवेश से हुई। इस अवसर पर विभाग के पूर्व अध्यक्ष डॉ. विकास कुमार, डॉ. फ्रांसिस्का कुजूर, तथा हिंदी विभाग की डॉ. मंजुला सांगा भी विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहीं।

शोधार्थियों और विद्यार्थियों की सहभागिता

इस शैक्षणिक संवाद में विभाग के शोधार्थी—सनी कुमार मेहता, सुमित कुमार, अमरेन्द्र कुमार आज़ाद, पुरुषोत्तम द्विवेदी, सुमती कुमारी, गंगेश्वरी सिंह, जय कुमार—सहित पीएच.डी. कोर्स वर्क 2024 के विद्यार्थी—फरहीन खानम, माधुरी कुमारी, रीता कुमारी—ने सक्रिय भागीदारी दिखाई। एमए द्वितीय एवं चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर के छात्रों ने भी उत्साहपूर्वक परिचर्चा में भाग लिया।

मंच संचालन का कार्य भैरव आनंद ने संभाला।

निष्कर्ष में मिली ऐतिहासिक दृष्टि की नवीनता

परिचर्चा में यह निष्कर्ष निकला कि इतिहास लेखन कोई स्थिर प्रक्रिया नहीं है, बल्कि यह शोध, विश्लेषण और साक्ष्य पर आधारित निरंतर विकासशील प्रक्रिया है। कार्यक्रम ने छात्र समुदाय में आलोचनात्मक सोच और इतिहास के नए आयामों की समझ को गहराई दी।
