गुमला, 24 जुलाई: बारिश के कारण बढ़ती जलजमाव और मच्छरजनित बीमारियों—जैसे डेंगू और मलेरिया—से निपटने हेतु गुमला नगर परिषद ने ब्लीचिंग पाउडर छिड़काव अभियान शुरू किया। यह अभियान उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर विभिन्न वार्डों में सफाई और जागरूकता के समन्वित प्रयास के रूप में संचालित हो रहा है।
नगर परिषद की टीमें नियमित रूप से नालियों, खुले जल जमाव, और अन्य सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर ब्लीचिंग पाउडर छिड़क रही हैं ताकि रोगाणु और मच्छर पनपने न पाएं। साथ ही, घर-घर जाकर नागरिकों को स्वच्छता बनाए रखने, बर्तनों व जल टंकियों को ढककर रखने, और अनावश्यक जलभराव रोकने संबंधी निर्देश भी दिए जा रहे हैं।
जिला प्रशासन की ओर से जारी चेतावनी में नागरिकों से कहा गया है, “बारिश के मौसम में पानी इकट्ठा न होने दें—यह मच्छरों को जन्म देता है जो डेंगू और मलेरिया जैसी बीमारियों का कारण बन सकते हैं।”
नगर परिषद का यह सामूहिक प्रयास न केवल सफाई सुनिश्चित करता है, बल्कि यह गुमलावासियों को पानी-जनित बीमारियों से सुरक्षित रखने की दिशा में भी एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
