प्रधानमंत्री की ‘मन की बात’ में गुमला के मत्स्य कृषक ओम प्रकाश साहू को मिली सराहना – जिले के लिए गौरव का पल

गुमला, 27 जुलाई 2025 — प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज अपने रेडियो कार्यक्रम ‘मन की बात’ में गुमला जिले के प्रतिभाशाली मत्स्य कृषक ओम प्रकाश साहू की प्रशंसा की। पीएम ने उनके मछली पालन प्रयासों को उत्कृष्ट बताया, जिससे पूरे जिले को राष्ट्रीय पहचान मिली है।

कौन हैं ओम प्रकाश साहू?

• कुम्हारी गाँव, बसिया प्रखंड से ताल्लुक रखने वाले ओम प्रकाश साहू ने 2024 में झारखंड सरकार से चार तालाब की बंदोबस्ती हासिल कर मत्स्य पालन में कदम रखा।
• अब उनका मछली उत्पादन 40 क्विंटल से अधिक पहुँच चुका है और वार्षिक आय 4–5 लाख रुपये से ऊपर पहुंच रही है।
• उनकी पत्नी इन्दुमती देवी को प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य संपदा योजना के तहत मध्यम RAS इकाई का लाभ मिला।

मत्स्य पालन में गुमला का मॉडल

• जिले की ओर से ज्योति लकड़ा को राज्यस्तरीय सम्मान भी प्राप्त हुआ था।
• वे 150 से अधिक कृषकों को मत्स्य अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित कर चुके हैं, उन्हें प्रशिक्षण दिया और सरकारी योजनाओं से जोड़ा।
• जिला मत्स्य पदाधिकारी कुसुम लता ने बताया कि 2020–21 से प्रधानमंत्री योजना के अंतर्गत 157 लाभुक जुड़े।
• जिले में अब तक बायो-फ्लॉक, अक्वाकल्चर सिस्टम, फिश-फीड मिल, ग्रॉ-आउट तालाब जैसी नवाचार तकनीकों को अपनाया गया है।

महिला सशक्तिकरण और सामूहिक प्रयास

• नारिकेला पंचायत में चरकी देवी, बबीता देवी और प्रीति देवी आदि ने मिलकर 16 ग्रो‑आउट तालाबों का क्लस्टर बनाया है।
• इस समूह ने सामूहिक मत्स्य पालन से महिला सशक्तिकरण को मजबूत किया; लगभग 150 महिला मत्स्य किसान इससे जुड़े हैं।

उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित की प्रतिक्रिया

उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने कहा:

“प्रधानमंत्री जी द्वारा ओम प्रकाश साहू जैसे स्थानीय किसान की सराहना गुमला के लिए बहुत गर्व की बात है। यह उदाहरण दिखाता है कि अगर योजनाओं को सही दिशा‑निर्देश और स्थानीय प्रतिबद्धता से लागू किया जाएँ, तो वे राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बना सकती हैं।”
उन्होंने बताया कि नारिकेला का निरीक्षण करने के बाद अब अन्य प्रखंडों में मॉडल फिश फार्म स्थापित करने की योजना है।

परिप्रेक्ष्य और प्रभाव

• मत्स्य पालन गुमला जैसे लैंडलॉक्ड राज्यों में खाद्य सुरक्षा, पोषण संतुलन, रोजगार और हमला आय का स्थायी स्रोत बन रहा है।
• यह क्षेत्र स्वरोजगार, ग्रामीण सशक्तिकरण और कुपोषण उन्मूलन में अहम भूमिका निभा रहा है। राष्ट्र-स्तरीय सहारा मिलने से भविष्य में इस मॉडल का और विस्तार होने की उम्मीद है।
