विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह के अवसर पर जागरूकता एवं स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन

गुमला: गुमला जिला में विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह के अवसर पर उपायुक्त गुमला के निर्देशानुसार आज जिले भर में SAM (Severe Acute Malnutrition) बच्चों की स्क्रीनिंग एवं परामर्श कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए। यह गतिविधियां सभी आँगनबाड़ी केंद्रों एवं स्वास्थ्य उपकेंद्रों पर संचालित हुईं, जिनमें बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण, पोषण स्थिति का आकलन एवं माताओं को स्तनपान के महत्व पर विस्तृत परामर्श प्रदान किया गया।

स्तनपान के प्रति समुदाय में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से सभी प्रखंड मुख्यालयों पर पारंपरिक नृत्य एवं गीतों की सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां दी गईं। इन प्रस्तुतियों में स्तनपान के शिशु के स्वास्थ्य, विकास और रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता पर सकारात्मक प्रभाव को रचनात्मक ढंग से प्रदर्शित किया गया।

जनसंपर्क विभाग की LED वैन एवं नुक्कड़ नाटकों के माध्यम से विभिन्न स्थानों पर प्रचार-प्रसार कर माताओं, गर्भवती महिलाओं एवं परिवारों को स्तनपान के लाभों से अवगत कराया गया।

कार्यक्रम के सफल संचालन में जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी, सभी प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी, बाल विकास परियोजना पदाधिकारी, सभी प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी (MOIC) एवं सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी (CHO) की सक्रिय भागीदारी रही।
