गुमला, 11 अगस्त – गुमला जिले के पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में रविवार को हुए भीषण सड़क हादसे में तीन युवकों की जान चली गई। नागपुर पंचायत के बनटोली गांव के पास तेज रफ्तार मोटरसाइकिल अनियंत्रित होकर डिवाइडर से टकरा गई, जिससे दो युवकों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि तीसरे युवक ने अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, तीनों युवक हेलमेट नहीं पहने थे, जिसके कारण सिर में गंभीर चोट और अधिक रक्तस्राव से उनकी मौत हो गई। मृतकों की पहचान पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र के लौवकेरा निवासी संदीप सिंह और बंटी सिंह, तथा खासटोली निवासी बिरसा उरांव के रूप में हुई है। तीनों दोस्त एक ही बाइक पर सवार होकर बाजार से घर लौट रहे थे।
हादसे के बाद मौके पर मौजूद ग्रामीणों ने गंभीर रूप से घायल युवक को तत्काल पालकोट उप-स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पहुंचाया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर पालकोट थाना पुलिस दल-बल के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंची, जांच की और शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद तीनों शव परिजनों को सौंप दिए गए।
पुलिस मामले की छानबीन में जुटी है, जबकि मृतकों के घरों और गांव में मातम पसरा हुआ है। परिजन शोक में डूबे हैं और इलाके में गमगीन माहौल है।
