गुमला में विश्व स्तनपान दिवस का समापन, उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले मुखिया एवं सेविकाएं सम्मानित

गुमला : विश्व स्तनपान दिवस समापन समारोह आज उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो की अध्यक्षता में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ। इस अवसर पर स्तनपान जागरूकता अभियान में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले चयनित मुखिया एवं आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाओं को प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

सम्मानित होने वालों में सिसई प्रखंड के शिवनाथपुर पंचायत की मुखिया फ्लोरेंस देवी तथा घाघरा प्रखंड के परियोजना आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र टोनक टोली की सेविका प्रमिला मिंज विशेष रूप से शामिल रहीं।

अपने संबोधन में उप विकास आयुक्त ने कहा कि “शिशु जन्म के तुरंत बाद स्तनपान कराना तथा 6 माह तक केवल मां का दूध पिलाना शिशु के स्वस्थ्य विकास के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है।” उन्होंने माताओं से आग्रह किया की वे स्तनपान को जीवनशैली का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा बनाएं और बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य की जिम्मेदारी को प्राथमिकता दें।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान उपस्थित सभी प्रतिभागियों ने स्तनपान को बढ़ावा देने की शपथ ली। आंगनबाड़ी सेविकाओं, सहायिकाओं और पर्यवेक्षकों को स्तनपान से संबंधित जागरूकता पर आधारित प्रेजेंटेशन भी दिखाया गया। उन्हें निर्देश दिया गया कि वे गर्भवती महिलाओं को इस विषय पर विशेष रूप से जागरूक करें और बच्चों के समुचित पोषण में अपनी सक्रिय भूमिका निभाएं।

सप्ताह भर चला विशेष अभियान

उपायुक्त के निर्देशानुसार जिले में 7 दिवसीय स्तनपान जागरूकता अभियान का संचालन किया गया। इसके तहत सभी 1,689 आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में माताओं को स्तनपान के महत्व से अवगत कराया गया। प्राथमिक व सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों में गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए विशेष सत्र आयोजित किए गए।

सभी पंचायत भवनों में फादर्स अवेयरनेस सेशन आयोजित हुए, जिनमें बच्चों के पिता को भी स्तनपान विषयक जानकारी देकर परिवार स्तर पर सहयोगी भूमिका निभाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। गंभीर रूप से कुपोषित (SAM) बच्चों की पहचान कर उनका स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण और उपचार सुनिश्चित किया गया।

जन-जागरूकता के लिए सभी प्रखंड मुख्यालयों पर स्थानीय कलाकारों द्वारा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए, जिनमें पारंपरिक जनजातीय गीत और नृत्य के माध्यम से संदेश प्रसारित किया गया।

उपायुक्त का संदेश

उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने इस अवसर पर संदेश देते हुए कहा कि “यह स्तनपान सप्ताह केवल 7 दिवसीय कार्यक्रम नहीं था, बल्कि जिले को स्तनपान के विशेष लाभों से प्रशिक्षित करते हुए कुपोषण मुक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक ठोस पहल थी।” उन्होंने जिलेवासियों से अपील की कि वे स्तनपान सप्ताह से मिली सीख को जीवन में अपनाएं, इसके प्रति निरंतर जागरूक रहें और इस ज्ञान को समाज में प्रसारित करते हुए स्वस्थ एवं पोषित गुमला के निर्माण में योगदान दें।

समापन दिवस पर आयोजित समारोह में प्रतिभागियों को शपथ दिलाई गई और स्तनपान को बढ़ावा देने वाले पंचायतों को ब्रेस्ट फ्रेंडली पंचायत के रूप में सम्मानित किया गया।

इस दौरान मुख्य रूप से सिविल सर्जन गुमला, जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी गुमला, डीपीएम हेल्थ सहित महिला पर्यवेक्षिकाएं, सहिया , सहायिकाएं भी मौजूद रहीं।
