17 अगस्त से शुरू होगा हॉकी का महाकुंभ, 1152 खिलाड़ी दिखाएंगे दमखम

रांची, 13 अगस्त 2025 — झारखंड में खेल प्रेमियों के लिए रोमांचक पल आने वाला है। राज्यस्तरीय जवाहरलाल नेहरू कप हॉकी प्रतियोगिता 2025-26 की तैयारियां पूरी हो चुकी हैं और अब 17 से 19 अगस्त तक होने वाले इस महोत्सव में राज्यभर से 1152 खिलाड़ी मैदान में उतरेंगे।

बुधवार को झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद के राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी सह आयोजन सचिव धीरसेन सोरेंग की अध्यक्षता में समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित हुई। बैठक में विभिन्न आयोजन समितियों के पदाधिकारी और सदस्य मौजूद रहे। सोरेंग ने निर्देश दिया कि प्रतियोगिता के दौरान भोजन, स्वास्थ्य और आवास की व्यवस्था बेहतरीन हो ताकि खिलाड़ियों को किसी प्रकार की कठिनाई न हो। उन्होंने कहा, “इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य हॉकी को प्रोत्साहित करना, खिलाड़ियों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का मंच देना और छात्रों में खेल भावना को मजबूत करना है।”

तीन वर्गों में होगी प्रतियोगिता
इस बार प्रतियोगिता में अंडर-15 बालक, अंडर-17 बालिका और अंडर-17 बालक वर्ग में मुकाबले होंगे। प्रत्येक टीम में 18 सदस्य होंगे, जिनमें 16 खिलाड़ी, एक कोच और एक मैनेजर शामिल होंगे। कुल 24 कोच और 24 टीम मैनेजर भी इसमें भाग लेंगे। टूर्नामेंट लीग-कम-नॉकआउट आधार पर खेला जाएगा और जवाहरलाल नेहरू हॉकी टूर्नामेंट सोसाइटी के नियमों के अनुसार आयोजित होगा।

जिला स्तरीय मुकाबले 15 से 20 जुलाई 2025 के बीच हो चुके हैं। वहां से विजेता टीमों को राज्यस्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में खेलने का मौका मिलेगा। राज्यस्तर पर प्रत्येक वर्ग की विजेता टीम अक्टूबर में नई दिल्ली में होने वाली राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड का प्रतिनिधित्व करेगी। उससे पहले विजेता टीमों के लिए 21 दिवसीय आवासीय प्रशिक्षण शिविर आयोजित किया जाएगा।

राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर झारखंड का दबदबा
जवाहरलाल नेहरू कप हॉकी के इतिहास में झारखंड अब तक 10 बार राष्ट्रीय चैंपियन बन चुका है। आखिरी बार 2023 में मिजोरम में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड ने यह खिताब जीता था, जब सीएम स्कूल ऑफ एक्सीलेंस, बरियातू की अंडर-17 बालिका टीम ने स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया था। स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग को उम्मीद है कि इस वर्ष भी झारखंड राष्ट्रीय मंच पर अपनी विजेता परंपरा को कायम रखेगा।
