‘सैल्यूटिंग 78’: डालमिया सीमेंट का स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर पूर्वी भारत के वीर जवानों को सम्मान

ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में शौर्य दिखाने वाले स्वर्गीय हवलदार सुनील कुमार सिंह को विशेष श्रद्धांजलि

पटना, अगस्त 2025:  देश के प्रमुख सीमेंट निर्माताओं में से एक डालमिया सीमेंट (भारत) लिमिटेड (डीसीबीएल) ने देश की स्वतंत्रता की 78वीं वर्षगाँठ के अवसर पर ‘सैल्यूटिंग 78’ पहल के तहत पूर्वी भारत के सशस्त्र बलों के युद्ध वीरों और पूर्व सैनिकों को सम्मानित किया। समुदायों को एक साथ लाने वाले समारोहों में, कंपनी ने बिहार, ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल और झारखंड के 78 पूर्व सैनिकों के साहस और बलिदान के लिए श्रद्धांजलि दी।
बिहार में, अलग-अलग पृष्ठभूमि के 27 पूर्व सैनिकों को देश सेवा में उनके साहस और योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में बिहार के सैनिकों की बहादुरी को भी भावपूर्ण तरीके से याद किया गया। बक्सर जिले के हवलदार सुनील कुमार सिंह को मरणोपरांत सम्मानित किया गया, जिन्होंने 2002 में सेना में भर्ती होकर 2023 में हवलदार पद प्राप्त किया था। वे पाकिस्तानी ड्रोन हमले में गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए और वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए। डालमिया सीमेंट ने उनकी शहादत को नमन करते हुए, उन्हें बिहार की गौरवशाली सैन्य परंपरा का प्रतीक बताया।

प्रत्येक पूर्व सैनिक को एक पट्टिका, ट्रॉफी, शॉल, भारतीय राष्ट्रीय ध्वज और सभी 78 सम्मानित पूर्व सैनिकों की विशेष स्मृति एल्बम भेंट की गई।

इस आयोजन में नागरिकों, स्कूली बच्चों, सामुदायिक नेताओं और अन्य विशिष्ट अतिथियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

*एक प्रतीकात्मक कदम के रूप में,* डालमिया सीमेंट ने स्कूलों और अन्य सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर 78 ध्वज स्तंभों का जीर्णोद्धार भी किया, ताकि तिरंगा आने वाली पीढ़ियों में गर्व, एकता और देशभक्ति की भावना जगाता रहे। ‘सैल्यूटिंग 78’ डालमिया सीमेंट की 85 वर्षों के राष्ट्र-निर्माण की विरासत और समुदाय को सशक्त बनाने के वाडे को दर्शाता है।
