रांची, 19 अगस्त 2025 — झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची द्वारा आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय जवाहरलाल नेहरू हॉकी प्रतियोगिता का दूसरा दिन रोमांचक मुकाबलों से भरपूर रहा। मोराबादी स्थित मारंग गोमके जयपाल सिंह एस्ट्रोटर्फ हॉकी स्टेडियम और मुख्यमंत्री उत्कृष्ट उच्च विद्यालय, बरियातू में खेले गए मैचों में अंडर-17 बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग तथा अंडर-15 बालक वर्ग के क्वार्टर फाइनल और सेमीफाइनल मुकाबले हुए।
अंडर-17 बालिका वर्ग
क्वार्टर फाइनल मुकाबलों में रांची ने गढ़वा को 10-0, खूंटी ने रामगढ़ को 6-0, हजारीबाग ने गुमला को 3-0 और सिमडेगा ने जामताड़ा को 7-0 से हराकर सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश किया।
इसके बाद हुए सेमीफाइनल में रांची ने खूंटी को 6-0 से मात देकर फाइनल का टिकट हासिल किया, जबकि सिमडेगा ने हजारीबाग को 8-0 से हराकर फाइनल में जगह बनाई। अब फाइनल मुकाबला रांची और सिमडेगा के बीच खेला जाएगा।
अंडर-17 बालक वर्ग
इस वर्ग में क्वार्टर फाइनल मुकाबलों में हजारीबाग, जामताड़ा, सिमडेगा, रांची और धनबाद ने जीत दर्ज की।
सेमीफाइनल में खूंटी ने रांची को 12-1 से करारी शिकस्त देकर फाइनल में जगह बनाई, जबकि हजारीबाग ने रोमांचक मुकाबले में सिमडेगा को 3-2 से हराकर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया।
अंडर-15 बालक वर्ग
सेमीफाइनल में सिमडेगा ने रांची को 4-0 से और खूंटी ने गुमला को 4-0 से हराकर फाइनल में अपनी जगह पक्की की। अब इस वर्ग का खिताबी मुकाबला सिमडेगा और खूंटी के बीच होगा।
हॉकी के प्रति बढ़ता उत्साह
राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग ने कहा, “पहली बार राज्य के सरकारी विद्यालयों से इतनी बड़ी संख्या में खिलाड़ी इस प्रतियोगिता में भाग ले रहे हैं। यह झारखंड में हॉकी के बढ़ते जुनून और लोकप्रियता का प्रमाण है।”
