गुमला में सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान, छात्रों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की दिलाई शपथ

गुमला, 20 अगस्त 2025 — सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर रोक लगाने और यातायात नियमों के महत्व को समझाने के उद्देश्य से बुधवार को गुमला के नरसिंग कौशल कॉलेज में एक विशेष सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान आयोजित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने किया, जबकि मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी राजीव नीरज और अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव मौजूद रहे।

यातायात नियमों पर छात्रों से सीधी बातचीत

अभियान में लगभग 110 से 120 छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाग लिया। सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट के उपयोग को “जीवन रक्षा का सबसे प्रभावी उपाय” बताते हुए इनके नियमित उपयोग पर जोर दिया। टीम ने बताया कि तेज गति, लापरवाही और वाहन चलाते समय मोबाइल फोन का इस्तेमाल दुर्घटनाओं के प्रमुख कारण हैं।

विशेषज्ञों ने यह भी समझाया कि ट्रिपल लोडिंग और ओवरलोडिंग से वाहन का संतुलन बिगड़ जाता है और दुर्घटना की संभावना कई गुना बढ़ जाती है। साथ ही, क्रैश गार्ड लगाने से वाहन की सुरक्षा क्षमता प्रभावित होने की वजह से इसे न लगाने की सलाह दी गई।

अधिकारियों के संदेश

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी राजीव नीरज ने कहा कि लेन ड्राइविंग और नियमों का पालन करने से अधिकांश सड़क हादसों को रोका जा सकता है। उन्होंने हेलमेट को “जीवन रक्षक कवच” बताते हुए इसके अनिवार्य उपयोग की अपील की।

जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने प्रतिभागियों को “गुड समेरिटन योजना” की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि सड़क दुर्घटना पीड़ितों को गोल्डन ऑवर में अस्पताल पहुंचाने वाले मददगार को राज्य सरकार की ओर से ₹2,000 और केंद्र सरकार की ओर से ₹5,000 की प्रोत्साहन राशि दी जाती है।

अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग एडवांस पोलिसिंग के माध्यम से सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने पर कार्य कर रहा है। उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की कि यातायात नियमों को हल्के में न लें और वाहन चलाते समय धैर्य बनाए रखें।

छात्रों ने ली शपथ

कार्यक्रम के अंत में सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने सभी छात्रों और शिक्षकों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने और दूसरों को भी इसके लिए प्रेरित करने की शपथ दिलाई।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित अधिकारी और शिक्षक

इस अवसर पर सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभाष, कॉलेज प्रिंसिपल नीरजा, शिक्षिका सुमिता चटर्जी समेत कई शिक्षक और अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

यह अभियान छात्रों में सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने और सड़क हादसों को कम करने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम साबित हुआ।
