गुमला पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई: 1,600 किलो गांजा बरामद, तस्कर गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजा गया

गुमला। गुमला पुलिस ने नशा कारोबार के खिलाफ एक और बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। जिले के पंसो गांव में छापेमारी कर पुलिस ने 1,600 किलोग्राम गांजा बरामद किया और एक तस्कर को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में जेल भेज दिया।

गुप्त सूचना पर हुई कार्रवाई

गुमला के पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां को 30 अगस्त की दोपहर गुप्त सूचना मिली कि अरुण बैठा, निवासी पंसो गांव, अपने घर में गांजा की अवैध खरीद-बिक्री कर रहा है। सूचना मिलते ही अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापामार टीम गठित की गई।

दल में थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली, पुलिस अवर निरीक्षक उदेश्वर पाल, सहायक अवर निरीक्षक नौशाद पवरिया और सशस्त्र बल के जवान शामिल थे।

छापेमारी में मिली सफलता

पुलिस टीम जैसे ही अरुण बैठा के घर पहुंची, वहां मौजूद एक युवक मोटरसाइकिल (संख्या JH08C-5925) छोड़कर फरार हो गया। इसके बाद पुलिस ने घर की तलाशी ली।
जांच के दौरान निर्माणाधीन मकान की सीढ़ियों के नीचे से नीले और बैंगनी रंग का एक बैग बरामद हुआ, जिसमें से 1.6 क्विंटल गांजा निकला।

घर में मौजूद अनुज बैठा से पूछताछ में पता चला कि गांजा कारोबार में अरुण बैठा (54 वर्ष) और उसका बेटा रूपेश बैठा (19 वर्ष) भी शामिल हैं।

मामला दर्ज, आरोपी गिरफ्तार

बरामद गांजा और मोटरसाइकिल को जब्त कर थाना लाया गया और इस संबंध में गुमला थाना कांड संख्या 274/25 एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धारा 20(B)(II)B/29 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया।
अगले ही दिन, 31 अगस्त को मुख्य आरोपी अरुण बैठा उर्फ चाई को उसके घर से गिरफ्तार किया गया। पुलिस ने उसे अदालत में पेश करने के बाद गुमला जेल भेज दिया।

पुलिस का बयान

अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने प्रेस वार्ता में बताया,
“गुमला पुलिस नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ लगातार कार्रवाई कर रही है। गांजा कारोबार न सिर्फ समाज को खोखला करता है, बल्कि युवाओं को अपराध की ओर भी धकेलता है। हम इस तरह के अपराधों पर पूरी सख्ती से नकेल कसेंगे।”
