गुमला। जिले के रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र स्थित करीडा गांव में शनिवार को पानी भरने गई एक 14 वर्षीय छात्रा संतोषी कुमारी की कुएं में गिरकर मौत हो गई। संतोषी भोला साहू की पुत्री थी और स्थानीय स्कूल की छात्रा थी।
पानी भरते समय हुआ हादसा
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार संतोषी कुमारी रोज की तरह कुएं पर पानी भरने गई थी। इसी दौरान उसका पैर फिसल गया और वह सीधे कुएं में गिर गई। शोर सुनकर ग्रामीण वहां पहुंचे और काफी मशक्कत के बाद उसे बाहर निकाला, लेकिन तब तक काफी देर हो चुकी थी।
परिजन तुरंत उसे गुमला सदर अस्पताल ले गए, जहाँ डॉक्टरों ने जांच के बाद मृत घोषित कर दिया।
नल-जल योजना ठप, ग्रामीणों को उठानी पड़ रही परेशानी
मृतका के चाचा नारायण साहू ने बताया कि गांव में हर घर नल-जल योजना के तहत दो जलमीनार बनाए गए थे। इनमें से एक लंबे समय से खराब पड़ा है जबकि दूसरे से मिलने वाला पानी पीने योग्य नहीं है। ऐसे में ग्रामीणों को मजबूरी में कुएं से पानी लाना पड़ता है। इसी कारण संतोषी को भी कुएं से पानी भरने जाना पड़ा और यह हादसा हो गया।
पुलिस ने किया पोस्टमॉर्टम
घटना की सूचना पर एसआई विनय कुमार महतो पुलिस बल के साथ अस्पताल पहुंचे और शव को अपने कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा। बाद में शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।
गांव और स्कूल में छाया मातम
संतोषी की असमय मौत से पूरे गांव में शोक की लहर है। स्थानीय स्कूल में पढ़ने वाली संतोषी की सहपाठिनी भी सदमे में हैं। परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है और गांव में गहरी मायूसी छा गई है।
