गुमला में सड़क हादसों पर सख्त हुई डीसी, सीओ को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी

गुमला। जिले में लगातार बढ़ रही सड़क दुर्घटनाओं और हादसों पर प्रशासनिक सख्ती शुरू हो गई है। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने अंचल अधिकारी अविनाश कुजूर को बिना अनुमति मुख्यालय से अनुपस्थित रहने और लापरवाही बरतने के मामले में कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किया है। सीओ को 24 घंटे के भीतर स्पष्टीकरण देने का आदेश दिया गया है, अन्यथा उनके खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

हादसों के आंकड़े चिंताजनक

आधिकारिक आंकड़ों के अनुसार जनवरी 2025 से 31 अगस्त तक गुमला जिले में 123 सड़क दुर्घटनाएं दर्ज की गईं, जिनमें 113 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। बढ़ती घटनाओं से स्थानीय लोगों में नाराजगी है। अक्सर आक्रोशित ग्रामीण मुख्य सड़कों को जाम कर देते हैं, जिससे बाहरी यात्रियों और गंभीर मरीजों को भारी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है।

अभियान के बावजूद हादसों में वृद्धि

डीसी प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर जिले में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम और वाहन चेकिंग अभियान लगातार चलाए जा रहे हैं। इसके बावजूद दुर्घटनाओं का ग्राफ नीचे आने के बजाय और ऊपर जा रहा है। स्थिति यह है कि अभियान से जुड़े कुछ अधिकारी भी जिम्मेदारी निभाने के बजाय बिना सूचना मुख्यालय छोड़कर चले जाते हैं।

वेतन रोकने का आदेश

नोटिस के साथ ही उपायुक्त ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि सीओ का 6 सितंबर का वेतन रोक दिया गया है। डीसी ने पत्र में स्पष्ट किया कि हादसे संवेदनशील मुद्दा हैं और यह मामला कानून-व्यवस्था की गंभीर चुनौती बन चुका है। ऐसे में अधिकारी की अनुपस्थिति स्थिति को और भी जटिल कर देती है।
