विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय (विभावि) के फिजियोथेरेपी विभाग की ओर से सोमवार को आर्यभट्ट हॉल में सर्वाइकल कैंसर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य महिलाओं में कैंसर, विशेषकर सर्वाइकल कैंसर की रोकथाम, समय पर जाँच और टीकाकरण को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाना था। आयोजन में ओम आरोहनम संस्था ने सहयोग दिया।
दीप प्रज्वलन से कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत
कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. चंद्र भूषण शर्मा, फिजियोथेरेपी विभाग के निदेशक डॉ. विकास कुमार, रेडिएशन ऑन्कोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. निशांत भारद्वाज, ओम आरोहनम संस्था से श्रीमती शेफाली गुप्ता और विकसित भारत युवा कनेक्ट के नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. उमेंद्र कुमार सिंह ने संयुक्त रूप से दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया।कुलपति का संबोधन
अध्यक्षता कर रहे कुलपति प्रो. चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने कहा, “स्वस्थ महिलाएँ किसी भी समाज और राष्ट्र की प्रगति की आधारशिला होती हैं। यदि महिलाओं का स्वास्थ्य उपेक्षित होगा तो देश का संतुलित विकास संभव नहीं।”विशेषज्ञों की राय
- डॉ. विकास कुमार ने कहा कि सर्वाइकल कैंसर के प्रति जागरूकता समाज में बेहद जरूरी है। उन्होंने कुलपति का आभार जताते हुए कहा कि फिजियोथेरेपी विभाग को इस तरह के कार्यक्रम का दायित्व मिलना गौरव की बात है।
- डॉ. उमेंद्र कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि विकसित भारत युवा कनेक्ट का लक्ष्य युवाओं, विशेषकर महिलाओं को स्वास्थ्य एवं सामाजिक चेतना के माध्यम से राष्ट्र निर्माण की प्रक्रिया में सक्रिय करना है।
- डॉ. निशांत भारद्वाज ने सर्वाइकल कैंसर के लक्षणों, जोखिम और समय पर जाँच की अहमियत पर विस्तृत जानकारी दी।
- श्रीमती शेफाली गुप्ता ने कहा कि जल्द ही सर्वाइकल कैंसर की रोकथाम के लिए वैक्सीन उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी और इसके लिए विशेष अभियान चलाया जाएगा।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन और धन्यवाद
