विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय (हजारीबाग): इंडिया हैबिटेट सेंटर, नई दिल्ली के निदेशक और प्रमुख शिक्षाविद् प्रोफेसर के.जी. सुरेश ने गुरुवार को विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय (विभावि) में आयोजित एक समारोह के दौरान अपने संबोधन में भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों की राष्ट्रीय भूमिका को पुनर्जीवित करने पर बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के विश्वविद्यालय अलग-थलग पड़ गए हैं, और अब उन्हें राष्ट्र की मुख्य धारा में वापस लाने की आवश्यकता है, जिसके लिए उन्हें अपनी विश्वसनीयता स्थापित करनी होगी।
पश्चिमी मॉडल और शोध की प्रासंगिकता
मुख्य वक्ता प्रो. सुरेश ने पश्चिमी देशों का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि वहां जब भी सरकार को कोई नया कार्य शुरू करना होता है, तो विश्वविद्यालयों से परामर्श लिया जाता है, यही कारण है कि वहां के कार्य अधिक प्रभावी होते हैं। उन्होंने भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों को आत्म-चिंतन करने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालयों को अपनी विश्वसनीयता स्थापित करने के लिए यह समीक्षा करनी होगी कि उनके द्वारा कराए गए शोध कितने प्रासंगिक हैं और वे समाज की समस्याओं का कितना समाधान करते हैं।क्षेत्रीय जुड़ाव और पत्रकारिता का महत्व
प्रोफेसर सुरेश ने सुझाव दिया कि प्रत्येक विश्वविद्यालय को अपने आस-पास के क्षेत्र (कम्युनिटी) से सक्रिय रूप से संपर्क स्थापित करना चाहिए, जिसे सामुदायिक रेडियो (Community Radio) की स्थापना के माध्यम से संभव बनाया जा सकता है। शिक्षा और समाज के बीच सेतु बनाने के लिए, उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय में राष्ट्रीय स्तर के पत्रकारिता विभाग की स्थापना करने का भी सुझाव दिया। उन्होंने देश में दानदाताओं की कमी नहीं होने का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि धन की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए संस्था की विश्वसनीयता को मजबूत करना सबसे आवश्यक है।शिक्षकों के लिए संदेश और विनोबा भावे का स्मरण
प्रो. सुरेश ने विश्वविद्यालय का एक और महत्वपूर्ण दायित्व बताया कि वे समाज को वैज्ञानिकता सिखाएँ। उन्होंने युवा शिक्षकों को रोल मॉडल बनने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। अपने संबोधन के अंत में, उन्होंने आचार्य विनोबा भावे और उनके द्वारा चलाए गए ऐतिहासिक भूदान यज्ञ की चर्चा की। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय अपने संस्थापक आचार्य के पद चिन्हों पर चलते हुए शिक्षा और सामाजिक सेवा के क्षेत्र में नई ऊंचाइयों को प्राप्त करता रहेगा।
