एशिया कप 2025 : श्रीलंका ने अफगानिस्तान को 6 विकेट से हराया
18 सितम्बर, 2025 को खेले गए एशिया कप क्रिकेट मुकाबले में श्रीलंका ने अफगानिस्तान को 6 विकेट से हराकर शानदार जीत दर्ज की। यह मुकाबला दोनों टीमों के लिए अहम था, क्योंकि जीत के साथ सेमीफाइनल की राह आसान हो सकती थी।
अफगानिस्तान ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाज़ी का फैसला किया। उनकी शुरुआत अच्छी रही, लेकिन बीच के ओवरों में श्रीलंकाई गेंदबाज़ों ने वापसी की। रहमानुल्लाह गुरबाज़ ने दमदार अर्धशतक जमाया और इब्राहिम ज़दरान ने भी संभलकर बल्लेबाज़ी की, लेकिन अन्य बल्लेबाज़ बड़ी पारी नहीं खेल पाए। पूरी अफगान टीम 47वें ओवर में 238 रन बनाकर ऑल आउट हो गई। श्रीलंका की ओर से वानिंदु हसरंगा और दिलशन मधुशंका ने शानदार गेंदबाज़ी की और क्रमशः 3-3 विकेट झटके।
लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी श्रीलंकाई टीम ने शुरुआत में कुछ झटके ज़रूर खाए, लेकिन सलामी बल्लेबाज़ पाथुम निसांका ने संयमित बल्लेबाज़ी करते हुए अर्धशतक जड़ा। उनके साथ कुसल मेंडिस ने शानदार 67 रन की पारी खेलकर टीम को मज़बूती दी। मध्यक्रम में चरित असलंका और कप्तान दासुन शनाका ने आक्रामक खेल दिखाते हुए टीम को जीत तक पहुँचाया। श्रीलंका ने 46वें ओवर में 4 विकेट खोकर 239 रन बनाते हुए लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया।
इस जीत के साथ श्रीलंका ने अंकतालिका में अपनी स्थिति मज़बूत कर ली है और सेमीफाइनल की दौड़ में खुद को बनाए रखा है। दूसरी ओर अफगानिस्तान की टीम के लिए यह हार बड़ा झटका साबित हुई है।
मैच के बाद श्रीलंकाई कप्तान दासुन शनाका ने कहा, “हमारी गेंदबाज़ी शानदार रही और बल्लेबाज़ों ने भी संयम दिखाया। यही टीम की असली ताकत है।” वहीं अफगान कप्तान हशमतुल्लाह शाहिदी ने स्वीकार किया कि उनकी टीम मध्य ओवरों में बड़ी साझेदारियाँ नहीं बना सकी, जो हार का कारण बनी।
इस रोमांचक जीत ने श्रीलंकाई दर्शकों को जश्न मनाने का मौका दिया। अब देखना होगा कि आने वाले मैचों में कौन सी टीम सेमीफाइनल तक पहुँचने में सफल होती है।
