धार्मिक और ज्योतिषीय महत्व
भारतीय परंपरा में ग्रहण को विशेष मान्यता दी गई है। सूर्य ग्रहण के समय मंदिरों के कपाट बंद कर दिए जाते हैं और पूजा-पाठ रोक दी जाती है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि ग्रहणकाल में नकारात्मक ऊर्जा का प्रभाव अधिक रहता है। इस दौरान दान, जप और ध्यान को अत्यंत शुभ माना जाता है। वहीं गर्भवती महिलाओं को विशेष सावधानियां बरतने की सलाह दी जाती है।
