गुमला : सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर रोक लगाने के उद्देश्य से 11 अक्टूबर 2025 को गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने विशेष सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान चलाया। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने गुमला थाना के सामने DAV मोड़ पर व्यापक जांच की।
बड़े पैमाने पर कार्रवाई
अभियान में यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले 120 से अधिक चालकों पर कार्रवाई की गई और ₹1,32,000 का जुर्माना वसूला गया। मुख्य फोकस हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट के अनिवार्य उपयोग पर रहा, जबकि अचानक की गई सघन घेराबंदी से लापरवाह चालकों में हड़कंप मच गया।
प्रमुख उल्लंघन

सुरक्षा नियम: बिना हेलमेट, ट्रिपल राइडिंग, सीट बेल्ट का अभाव।

अमान्य कागज़ात: लाइसेंस, इंश्योरेंस, परमिट, PUC, रोड टैक्स का अभाव।

अनाधिकृत उपकरण: प्रेशर हॉर्न, मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न।

ओवरलोडिंग: मालवाहकों में क्षमता से अधिक सामान।
जागरूकता और चेतावनी
जुर्माना लगाने के साथ ही चालकों को नियमों के पालन और लापरवाही के खतरनाक परिणामों के बारे में समझाया गया। DTO ने चेतावनी दी कि भविष्य में नियम उल्लंघन पर और भी सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई होगी।

अभियान में अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी राजीव नीरज, मुख्यालय DSP बीरेंद्र टोप्पो, मोटरयान निरीक्षक प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की, थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र करमाली, DTO कार्यालय कर्मी एवं पुलिस बल सक्रिय रूप से शामिल रहे।
