गुमला : उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के आदेशानुसार जिले में “तंबाकू मुक्त युवा अभियान” के तहत प्रत्येक शिक्षण संस्थान को तंबाकू मुक्त क्षेत्र घोषित करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई है।
अभियान की शुरुआत
पहले चरण में गुमला नगर क्षेत्र स्थित सेंट इग्नेटियस स्कूल, उर्सुलाइन स्कूल, एसएस बॉयज स्कूल और एसएस गर्ल्स स्कूल सहित प्रमुख संस्थानों को लाल रंग से “तंबाकू मुक्त क्षेत्र” का चिन्ह अंकित किया गया। इसी तर्ज पर जिले के सभी शिक्षण संस्थानों को आगामी दिनों में तंबाकू मुक्त घोषित किया जाएगा।
उद्देश्य और दिशा-निर्देश
इस पहल का लक्ष्य विद्यार्थियों को नशामुक्त, सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ वातावरण प्रदान करना है। दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार,

किसी भी शिक्षण संस्थान के 100 गज की परिधि में तंबाकू उत्पादों का सेवन, विक्रय, भंडारण या उपलब्ध कराना पूर्णतः प्रतिबंधित रहेगा।
प्रशासनिक सहभागिता
अभियान में अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी गुमला, जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी, नगर प्रशासक, विभिन्न विद्यालयों के प्राचार्य, मनोवैज्ञानिक सुमन एवं डिस्ट्रिक्ट कंसल्टेंट वंदना की सक्रिय भूमिका रही।

उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने कहा कि यह अभियान युवाओं को स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। प्रशासन द्वारा इसे चरणबद्ध रूप से पूरे जिले में लागू किया जाएगा ताकि सभी विद्यालय पूरी तरह नशामुक्त परिसर के रूप में विकसित हो सकें।
