स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग, झारखंड सरकार के तत्वावधान में झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची द्वारा आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय स्कूली कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता का भव्य समापन खेलगांव स्थित हरिवंश राय ताना भगत स्टेडियम में हुआ।
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि पूर्व क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा उपनिदेशक अरविंद विजय बिलुंग और विशिष्ट अतिथि जेसीईआरटी के उपनिदेशक प्रदीप चौबे रहे, जिनका स्वागत राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग ने पौधा, अंगवस्त्र और स्मृति चिन्ह देकर किया।
अतिथियों के उद्बोधन
श्री बिलुंग ने कहा —
“‘खेलो झारखंड’ अब राज्य के खिलाड़ियों को आगे बढ़ाने का बड़ा मंच बन चुका है। सफलता का एकमात्र मार्ग अनुशासन है, इसलिए खिलाड़ियों को 24 घंटे अनुशासित रहकर निरंतर अभ्यास करना चाहिए।”
श्री प्रदीप चौबे ने कहा —
“कबड्डी इस धरती का सबसे प्राचीन खेल है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण भी इसे खेलते थे। यह गर्व की बात है कि आप उस परंपरा को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं, जिसकी जड़ें 4000 वर्ष पुरानी हैं।”
राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग ने स्वागत भाषण में कहा —
“खेलो झारखंड के माध्यम से शिक्षा विभाग का सपना अब साकार रूप ले चुका है। खिलाड़ियों ने जिस ऊर्जा, उत्साह और समर्पण से भाग लिया है, वह वाकई सराहनीय है।”
