गुमला जिले के सभी माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में एचआईवी/एड्स जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में झारखंड राज्य एड्स नियंत्रण समिति, राँची के दिशा-निर्देश एवं स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग, झारखंड सरकार के आदेशानुसार गुमला जिले के सभी माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में शुक्रवार को एचआईवी/एड्स जागरूकता गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया।

विद्यालय प्रार्थना सभा के दौरान तथा विशेष कक्षा सत्रों के माध्यम से विद्यालय प्रधानाचार्य एवं शिक्षकों ने विद्यार्थियों को एचआईवी/एड्स के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। विद्यार्थियों को बताया गया कि एचआईवी एक ऐसा वायरस है जो शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को कमजोर करता है और इसके संक्रमण से एड्स रोग उत्पन्न होता है।

कार्यक्रम में एचआईवी संक्रमण के मुख्य कारणों यथा असुरक्षित रक्त चढ़ाना, असुरक्षित यौन संबंध, संक्रमित सुई या ब्लेड का प्रयोग, तथा गर्भावस्था के दौरान माँ से बच्चे में संक्रमण आदि की जानकारी दी गई।
साथ ही विद्यार्थियों को बचाव के उपायों जैसे स्वच्छ सुई का प्रयोग, सुरक्षित रक्त परीक्षण, और सामाजिक भ्रांतियों से बचने की सलाह दी गई।

जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी कविता खलखो द्वारा बताया गया कि इस कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से विद्यालयों में यह संदेश दिया गया कि एचआईवी/एड्स से ग्रसित व्यक्ति से किसी प्रकार का भेदभाव नहीं करना चाहिए, बल्कि उसे सहानुभूति, समझ और सहयोग प्रदान करना चाहिए।

इस जागरूकता गतिविधि का उद्देश्य स्कूली विद्यार्थियों में स्वास्थ्य के प्रति सचेतना बढ़ाना, सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी की भावना विकसित करना और एड्स के प्रति भ्रांतियों को दूर करना रहा।
यह पहल जिला शिक्षा विभाग, गुमला की ओर से स्वास्थ्य संवेदनशील एवं जिम्मेदार नागरिकता निर्माण की दिशा में एक सराहनीय प्रयास है।
