रफ्तार घटाओ, सुरक्षा बढ़ाओ : सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान में प्रशासन का सख्त एक्शन, दो दिनों में ₹1.34 लाख की वसूली

गुमला :- गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में, झारखंड सरकार के “रफ्तार घटाओ, सुरक्षा बढ़ाओ” कार्यक्रम के तहत स्थानीय पॉलीटेक्निक कॉलेज के समीप सड़क सुरक्षा एवं यातायात नियमों पर विशेष जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान के दौरान जिला प्रशासन ने जहां सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक किया, वहीं नियम तोड़ने वालों पर सख्त कार्रवाई भी की।

जुर्माने के डर से कॉलेज में छोड़ी बाइकें, छात्रों की पैदल वापसी

पॉलीटेक्निक कॉलेज परिसर के गेट पर जांच शुरू होते ही कई छात्र-छात्राओं ने अपनी मोटरसाइकिलें कॉलेज के अंदर ही छोड़ दीं और पैदल घर की ओर रवाना हो गए। मौके पर कुछ अभिभावक अपने बच्चों तक हेलमेट पहुंचाते देखे गए ताकि वे जुर्माने से बच सकें।जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ने इस प्रवृत्ति पर चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि “नियमों का पालन जुर्माने से बचने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि जीवन की सुरक्षा के लिए होना चाहिए।”

बस डिपो पर भी डीटीओ का सख्त निरीक्षण

इसी क्रम में उपायुक्त के निर्देश पर जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (डीटीओ) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने ललित उरांव बस डिपो और दूनदूरियां बस डिपो का औचक निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने बस संचालकों को निर्देश दिया कि निर्धारित स्थान पर बसें लगाना अनिवार्य है, अन्यथा परमिट निलंबन या अधिकतम जुर्माने की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। निरीक्षण के दौरान कई बस संचालक बसें हटाते नजर आए।

सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान का असर: दो दिनों में ₹1.34 लाख की वसूली

मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह और प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की के नेतृत्व में चलाए गए इस अभियान में शनिवार को 90 से अधिक चालकों पर चालान काटा गया तथा ₹82,000 की राशि वसूली गई। इससे पहले भी, के.ओ. कॉलेज के पास ₹52,000 की वसूली हुई थी। इस प्रकार दो दिनों में कुल ₹1.34 लाख की राशि दंडस्वरूप जमा की गई।

जागरूकता के साथ प्रोत्साहन भी

अभियान के दौरान ‘गुड सेमेरिटन योजना’ की जानकारी दी गई, जिसके तहत सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल व्यक्ति की मदद करने वाले नागरिक को ₹2,000 का पुरस्कार और प्रशस्ति पत्र दिया जाता है। अभियान में सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभास, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी प्रभारी मंटू रवानी, प्रणय कांशी तथा पुलिस बल की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।

प्रशासन का संदेश स्पष्ट है — ‘रफ्तार नहीं, जिम्मेदारी से चलाएं वाहन, ताकि सुरक्षित रहें आप, परिवार, परिजन और समाज।’
