गुमला जिले के घाघरा प्रखंड में पानी का गंभीर संकट गहराता जा रहा है। करोड़ों रुपये की लागत से बनाई गई सौर चालित जलमीनारें अब ग्रामीणों के लिए मुसीबत बन चुकी हैं।
क्षेत्र की लगभग 60% जलमीनारें महीनों से खराब पड़ी हैं, जिसके कारण हजारों ग्रामीण बूंद-बूंद पानी के लिए तरस रहे हैं।
जलमीनारें बंद, ग्रामीणों की जिंदगी मुश्किल
- कई जलमीनारों की मोटरें जल चुकी हैं,
- पाइपलाइनें टूट गई हैं,
- और कई स्थानों पर तकनीकी खामियां लंबित पड़ी हैं।
कई योजनाएं निर्माण के कुछ महीनों बाद ही बंद हो गईं, जिससे निर्माण की गुणवत्ता पर भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं।
ग्रामीणों का आरोप
ग्रामीणों के अनुसार—
- निर्माण में घटिया सामग्री का प्रयोग हुआ,
- विभाग और स्थानीय प्रशासन ने लापरवाही बरती,
- शिकायत करने पर हर बार यही कहा गया— “एस्टीमेट बन रहा है”
लेकिन महीनों गुजर गए, मरम्मत शुरू नहीं हुई।
महिलाओं–बच्चों की बढ़ी मुश्किलें
पानी की किल्लत से ग्रामीणों को दूर स्थित कुओं, चुआं और नदियों से पानी लाना पड़ रहा है।
दूषित पानी उपयोग करने से जलजनित बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ गया है।
बढ़ती नाराजगी
लंबे समय से समस्या जस की तस बनी रहने से
ग्रामीणों का गुस्सा प्रशासन पर बढ़ता जा रहा है।
