गुमला में खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं तंबाकू निषेध टीम की संयुक्त कार्रवाई, कई दुकानें जांच में फेल

गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर बुधवार को खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग और तंबाकू निषेध टीम ने जिला मुख्यालय के विभिन्न बाजार क्षेत्रों में संयुक्त छापेमारी अभियान संचालित किया। अभियान का नेतृत्व खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी तथा तंबाकू निषेध पदाधिकारी वंदना स्मिता होरो ने किया। टीम ने मुख्य बाजार, भीड़-भाड़ वाले व्यापारिक क्षेत्र, बड़े किराना प्रतिष्ठान, आर मार्ट, P.K मार्ट सहित कई रिटेल दुकानों का निरीक्षण किया।

जांच के दौरान खाद्य सुरक्षा टीम ने गुणवत्ता, स्वच्छता, भंडारण, लाइसेंस की वैधता, पैकेजिंग विवरण तथा निर्माण–एक्सपायरी तिथि की विस्तृत जांच की। कई दुकानों में अनुचित भंडारण, खुले में खाद्य सामग्री रखने, तथा पैक्ड उत्पादों पर अधूरी जानकारी जैसी गंभीर अनियमितताएँ सामने आईं। कई मामलों में खाद्य सामग्री को मौके पर नष्ट कराया गया और प्रतिष्ठानों को चेतावनी दी गई कि आगे एक्सपायरी या खराब उत्पाद मिलने पर दुकान सील करने की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। टीम ने विशेष रूप से नमक के बोरे खुले आसमान के नीचे रखने की लापरवाही पर चिंता जताई।

उधर तंबाकू निषेध टीम की कार्रवाई में COTPA एक्ट के कई उल्लंघन पाए गए। कई दुकानों पर अनिवार्य चेतावनी बोर्ड अनुपस्थित थे, जबकि कुछ स्थानों पर स्कूल, अस्पताल और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रों के पास तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री की पुष्टि हुई। धूम्रपान निषेध क्षेत्रों में उल्लंघन करने वाले दुकानदारों पर ₹2,500 का अर्थदंड लगाया गया तथा दोहराव की स्थिति में सीधी सीलिंग कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी गई।

अधिकारियों ने सभी दुकानदारों को स्वच्छ एवं सुरक्षित भंडारण प्रणाली अपनाने, लाइसेंस एवं दस्तावेज अद्यतन रखने, एक्सपायरी उत्पादों की बिक्री पर पूर्ण रोक लगाने तथा तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री COTPA नियमों के अनुरूप करने के निर्देश दिए।

टीम ने नागरिकों से अपील की कि मिलावटी, नकली, एक्सपायरी खाद्य पदार्थों या नाबालिगों को तंबाकू उत्पाद बेचे जाने की सूचना तुरंत खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग या जिला प्रशासन को दें।
