गुमला: गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में आज समाहरणालय सभागार चांदली में उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित की अध्यक्षता में सड़क सुरक्षा से संबंधित एक महत्वपूर्ण संयुक्त समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक में जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी, पुलिस उपाधीक्षक सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित रहे।
सड़क सुरक्षा की समीक्षा करते हुए, उपायुक्त ने ज़िले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में कमी लाने की दिशा में तत्काल प्रभावी कदम उठाने पर बल दिया। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि चिन्हित ब्लैक स्पॉट्स में आवश्यकतानुसार साइनेज बोर्ड, स्पीड ब्रेकर और अन्य सुरक्षा उपकरण शीघ्रता से लगाए जाएं।
उपायुक्त ने K.O. कॉलेज के आसपास की यातायात व्यवस्था पर विशेष ध्यान देने को कहा, जिसके तहत रोड चौड़ीकरण, अतिक्रमण हटाने, मुख्य गेट के पास लगने वाले जाम को रोकने और दुर्घटना रोकथाम के लिए आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए गए। उन्होंने रायडीह मुख्य मार्ग पर काम होने के बावजूद सड़क की गुणवत्ता में सुधार न आने पर गंभीर नाराज़गी व्यक्त की और इसे जल्द से जल्द सही करने का निर्देश दिया।
स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में चल रहे खराब ऑटो-टेम्पो की विशेष निगरानी के लिए एक टीम गठित करने का निर्देश दिया गया। उपायुक्त ने चिंता जताई कि कई वाहनों की बॉडी ख़राब हो चुकी है और उनमें सुरक्षात्मक कमी है। ऐसे असुरक्षित वाहनों का इस्तेमाल कर रहे स्कूलों को चिन्हित कर उनके ख़िलाफ़ प्राथमिकी (FIR) दर्ज करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, सभी स्कूल-कॉलेजों में रोड सेफ्टी अवेयरनेस कैंपेन चलाने के भी निर्देश दिए गए।
बैठक में घाघरा में पुल निर्माण की अद्यतन स्थिति, घाघरा चौक के पुनर्निर्माण और चैनपुर प्रखंड स्थित रामपुर में स्पीड ब्रेकर निर्माण की प्रगति की जानकारी ली गई तथा सभी लंबित कार्यों को शीघ्र पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिए गए।
उपायुक्त ने सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर विशेष जागरूकता अभियान चलाने की बात कही। उन्होंने सभी विद्यालयों एवं सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर सड़क सुरक्षा से संबंधित वीडियो का प्रदर्शन करने, नागरिकों और विद्यार्थियों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति प्रशिक्षित करने तथा हेलमेट जाँच अभियान को सख्ती से चलाने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही, चिन्हित क्षेत्रों में नियमित जाँच अभियान चलाकर यातायात नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने पर विशेष जोर दिया गया।
