गुमला: गुमला जिला में लगातार पड़ रही है, कडाके की ठंड, पिछले कुछ दिनों से लगातार तापमान में भारी गिरावट दर्ज की जा रही है, फलस्वरूप जनजीवन अस्त व्यस्त हो चुका है, मौसम विभाग द्वारा लगातार
गिरावट दर्ज करते हुए, हाई अलर्ट जारी की जा रही है, रात्रि के समय न्यूनतम पारा 6 डिग्री पर पहुंच जाता है, ठंड में सबसे अधिक बड़े बूढ़े बुजुर्ग, बच्चे, पशु पक्षियों सहित गरीब परिवारों को काफी अधिक

परेशानियों का सयना करना पड रहा है, विशेषकर महिला पुरुष मजदूर , रिक्शा चालकों और सड़कों पर रात गुजारने वाले व्यक्तियों को काफी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। हालांकि अब आधा ठंड बीत जाने के बाद कंबल वितरण की प्रकिया में जिला प्रशासन के गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर कंबल वितरण पर तेजी आई है। इसके लिए
टेंडर हो चुका है। बताया जा रहा है की इस बार जिले में गरीबों के बीच कंबल वितरण का जिम्मा लातेहार की कमला स्टोर नामक एजेंसी को सौंपा गया है। कंपनी जिलास्तर पर 7, 97 रुपए प्रति कंबल की दर पर 28, 600 कंबल उपलब्ध कराएगी। इसमें सरकार को 22 करोड़ से अधिक रुपए व्यय करने पड़ेंगे। बताया जा रहा है कि अगले सप्ताह
के शुरुआती दिनों से जिला व प्रखंड स्तर पर कंबल का वितरण शुरू कर दिया जाएगा,चूंकि प्रखंडवार कंबलों
की खेप उतारी जा रही है। लक्ष्य है कि ससमय सभी जरूरतमंदों को कंबल मुहैया करा दिया जाएगा, फलस्वरुप गरीबों को उक्त कंबल की गर्माहट महसूस होगी, सामाजिक सुरक्षा कोषांग के सहायक निदेशक ललन कुमार रजक ने बताया की 28,600 कंबलों को जिला के सभी प्रखंडों में उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। फिर संबंधित प्रखंडों के अधिकारी व जनप्रतिनिधियों के सहयोग से जरूरतमंदों को चिन्हित कर कंबल का वितरण सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा।
