अमर शहीद जीतराम बेदिया जी की 223वीं जयंती श्रद्धा व सम्मान के साथ मनाई गई

पेटरवार प्रखंड अंतर्गत कोह मिडिल स्कूल सह पंचायत भवन के समीप स्थित सरना स्थल पर मंगलवार को महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी अमर शहीद जीतराम बेदिया जी की 223वीं जयंती गरिमामय वातावरण में मनाई गई। कार्यक्रम में पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता तथा उत्पाद एवं मद्य निषेध मंत्री श्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद जी के ज्येष्ठ पुत्र एवं झामुमो बोकारो युवा मोर्चा के जिला उपाध्यक्ष बिनय कपूर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे।

समारोह स्थल पर ग्रामीणों एवं आयोजकों द्वारा बिनय कपूर का फूल-मालाओं से भव्य स्वागत किया गया। इसके पश्चात उन्होंने अमर शहीद जीतराम बेदिया जी के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी।

सभा को संबोधित करते हुए बिनय कपूर ने कहा कि झारखंड वीर सपूतों और क्रांतिकारियों की धरती रही है। अमर शहीद जीतराम बेदिया जी ने अंग्रेजी शासन के अत्याचार और शोषण के विरुद्ध संगठित संघर्ष का नेतृत्व किया और समाज के सभी वर्गों को एकजुट कर स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन को नई दिशा दी। उन्होंने कहा कि शहीद जीतराम बेदिया जी का त्याग, साहस और बलिदान आज भी समाज के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि ऐसे महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के विचारों और आदर्शों को आत्मसात करना तथा उनकी गौरवशाली विरासत को नई पीढ़ी तक पहुँचाना हम सभी की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है।

कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता, जनप्रतिनिधि एवं गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे। पूरे आयोजन में देशभक्ति और श्रद्धा का भाव स्पष्ट रूप से परिलक्षित हुआ।
