खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के अनुपालन हेतु निरीक्षण एवं ‘इट राइट कैंपस’ के तहत कॉलेज में जागरूकता अभियान

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश से जिले में आम नागरिकों एवं विद्यार्थियों के स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं जन-जागरूकता से संबंधित गतिविधियाँ निरंतर संचालित की जा रही हैं। इसी क्रम में आज खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी द्वारा रामनगर स्थित हनुमान भंडार का औचक निरीक्षण किया गया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान प्रतिष्ठान में उपलब्ध खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता एवं स्वच्छता की गहन जांच की गई। जांच के क्रम में बेसन का नमूना विधिवत रूप से संग्रहित कर खाद्य परीक्षण हेतु प्रयोगशाला (लेब) भेजा गया, ताकि यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सके कि संबंधित खाद्य पदार्थ निर्धारित खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के अनुरूप है या नहीं। साथ ही प्रतिष्ठान संचालक को साफ-सफाई बनाए रखने एवं खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों का सख्ती से अनुपालन करने का निर्देश दिया गया।

इसके उपरांत खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी एवं जिला तंबाकू निषेध सलाहकार के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में कार्तिक उरांव कॉलेज (बी.एड. कॉलेज) में फूड सेफ्टी एवं तंबाकू निषेध विषय पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाग लिया।

विद्यार्थियों में खाद्य सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से उन्हें खाद्य सुरक्षा से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण उपायों की जानकारी दी गई। कार्यक्रम के दौरान विभिन्न खाद्य पदार्थों का लाइव प्राथमिक परीक्षण कर दिखाया गया, जिससे विद्यार्थियों को मिलावट की पहचान करने की व्यवहारिक जानकारी प्राप्त हो सके। इसके साथ ही अखाद्य रंगों के दुष्प्रभावों के बारे में बताया गया तथा फोर्टीफाइड फूड के उपयोग एवं उसके महत्व पर विस्तारपूर्वक प्रकाश डाला गया।

कार्यक्रम में ‘इट राइट कैंपस’ अभियान के अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों को “आज से थोड़ा कम तेल, चीनी और नमक” अभियान की विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। छात्र-छात्राओं को जंक फूड, अत्यधिक मीठे पेय पदार्थ एवं तले-भुने खाद्य पदार्थों से दूरी बनाए रखने की सलाह दी गई, ताकि स्वास्थ्य पर पड़ने वाले दुष्प्रभावों एवं बढ़ते मोटापे से बचा जा सके।

इसके अलावा विद्यार्थियों को संतुलित एवं पौष्टिक आहार अपनाने, भोजन की बर्बादी न करने, स्वच्छ एवं सुरक्षित भोजन ग्रहण करने तथा स्वस्थ जीवनशैली को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। साथ ही तंबाकू एवं तंबाकू उत्पादों के सेवन से होने वाली गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं की जानकारी देते हुए तंबाकू से पूर्णतः दूर रहने की अपील की गई।
