गुमला :- गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, नई दिल्ली से प्राप्त निर्देशों के आलोक में राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस–2026 के अवसर पर गुमला जिले के सभी सरकारी कार्यालयों में अधिकारियों एवं कर्मियों द्वारा मतदाता शपथ ग्रहण की गई।
उल्लेखनीय है कि 25 जनवरी 2026 को रविवार होने के कारण आयोग के निर्देशानुसार 22 जनवरी 2026 को मतदाता शपथ कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस संबंध में जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त गुमला द्वारा सभी संबंधित विभागाध्यक्षों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश निर्गत किए गए थे, जिसके अनुपालन में जिले के समस्त कार्यालयों में शपथ कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ।
इस अवसर पर उपस्थित अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को लोकतंत्र की मजबूती, स्वतंत्र एवं निष्पक्ष निर्वाचन तथा निर्भीक होकर बिना किसी प्रलोभन के मताधिकार के प्रयोग के प्रति शपथ दिलाई गई।
मतदाता शपथ:
“हम, भारत के नागरिक, लोकतंत्र में आस्था रखते हुए यह शपथ लेते हैं कि स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण निर्वाचन की मर्यादा बनाए रखते हुए, निर्भीक होकर तथा किसी भी प्रकार के प्रलोभन से प्रभावित हुए बिना अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करेंगे।”
जिला प्रशासन, गुमला द्वारा सभी नागरिकों से अपील की गई कि वे लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था को सशक्त बनाने हेतु अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग अवश्य करें।
