उर्मी चौराहा में चौक निर्माण कार्य फरवरी 2026 से प्रारंभ करने का उपायुक्त का निर्देश

गुमला : – गुमला बाईपास पथ स्थित उर्मी चौराहा से प्रतिदिन रांची–छत्तीसगढ़ एवं गुमला–राउरकेला मार्ग पर बड़ी संख्या में वाहनों का आवागमन होता है। बाईपास पथ के निर्माण के लगभग 10 वर्ष बाद भी चौक का निर्माण नहीं होने के कारण उक्त स्थल पर लगातार सड़क दुर्घटनाएं हो रही हैं।
इस संबंध में पूर्व में अनेकों बैठकों एवं 08.01.2026 को आयोजित DISHA बैठक में भी चौक निर्माण शीघ्र कराने का निर्देश दिया गया था, किंतु अब तक कार्य प्रारंभ नहीं किया गया।
उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित द्वारा कार्यपालक अभियंता, राष्ट्रीय उच्च पथ प्रमण्डल (NH), गुमला को निर्देशित किया गया है कि माह फरवरी 2026 से चौक निर्माण कार्य अविलंब प्रारंभ कराते हुए उसे शीघ्र पूर्ण करना सुनिश्चित करें। साथ ही यह स्पष्ट किया गया है कि भविष्य में किसी भी प्रकार की दुर्घटना अथवा जानमाल की क्षति की जिम्मेवारी संबंधित पदाधिकारी की होगी।
