गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में आज दिनांक 25 जनवरी 2026 को राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस के अवसर पर भारत निर्वाचन आयोग से प्राप्त निर्देशों के आलोक में मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, मंत्रिमंडल निर्वाचन विभाग, झारखंड, राँची के आदेशानुसार जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी-सह-उपायुक्त, गुमला प्रेरणा दीक्षित द्वारा दिए गए निर्देश के क्रम में उप विकास आयुक्त, गुमला दिलेश्वर महत्तो की अध्यक्षता में साइकिल रैली का आयोजन किया गया।
साइकिल रैली का शुभारंभ गुमला नगर भवन से किया गया, जो समाहरणालय, चंडाली तक निकाली गई। रैली के माध्यम से आमजनों को मतदाता जागरूकता, मतदान के अधिकार एवं लोकतंत्र में भागीदारी के प्रति प्रेरित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर उत्कृष्ट निर्वाचन कार्य करने वाले बी0एल0ओ0, बी0एल0ओ0 सुपरवाइजर, कम्प्यूटर ऑपरेटर एवं हेल्प डेस्क मैनेजरों को प्रशस्ति पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया। साथ ही नये मतदाताओं को मतदाता पहचान पत्र (वोटर कार्ड) एवं गुलाब फूल देकर प्रोत्साहित किया गया।
मौके पर अपर समाहर्त्ता, उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, निर्वाचन निबंधन पदाधिकारी–69 बिशुनपुर सहित निर्वाचन कार्य से जुड़े अन्य पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान मतदाता जागरूकता को सशक्त बनाने तथा अधिक से अधिक नागरिकों को निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया से जोड़ने का संदेश दिया गया।
