इंफोसिस ने कड़े किए वर्क फ्रॉम होम नियम, तिमाही में केवल 5 दिन की छूट

बेंगलुरु। देश की प्रमुख आईटी कंपनी इंफोसिस ने वर्क फ्रॉम होम (WFH) नीति को और सख्त करते हुए वर्क फ्रॉम ऑफिस (WFO) से छूट पर नई सीमा तय कर दी है। कंपनी ने तिमाही आधार पर अतिरिक्त WFH दिनों की संख्या अधिकतम पांच दिन तक सीमित कर दी है। यह फैसला टाटा कंसल्टेंसी सर्विसेज (TCS) और विप्रो द्वारा हाल के महीनों में अपनाई गई सख्त नीतियों के बाद लिया गया है।

इंफोसिस के अनुसार, अब तिमाही में पांच दिन से अधिक WFH की अनुमति सामान्य परिस्थितियों में नहीं दी जाएगी। इस सीमा से केवल उन्हीं मामलों में छूट मिलेगी, जहां कर्मचारी या उनके आश्रितों की गंभीर चिकित्सकीय स्थिति हो। ऐसे मामलों में कर्मचारियों को डॉक्टर की पुष्टि सहित आवश्यक दस्तावेज जमा करने होंगे।

वर्तमान व्यवस्था के तहत जॉब लेवल 5 और उससे नीचे के कर्मचारियों को हर महीने कम से कम 10 दिन ऑफिस से काम करना अनिवार्य है। नया नियम उन कर्मचारियों पर लागू होगा जो निर्धारित सीमा से अधिक WFH दिनों की मांग करते हैं।

कंपनी के एक मैनेजर द्वारा कर्मचारियों को भेजे गए ईमेल में बताया गया है कि हाल के समय में अतिरिक्त WFH दिनों की मंजूरी के लिए अनुरोधों में काफी वृद्धि देखी गई है। ईमेल में स्पष्ट किया गया है कि अब किसी भी WFH अनुरोध के लिए ईमेल के बजाय कंपनी के सिस्टम में पहले से अनुमोदन लेना अनिवार्य होगा।

मैनेजर ने कर्मचारियों को सलाह दी है कि वे अपने WFH अनुरोध पहले से योजना बनाकर समय पर दर्ज करें, ताकि अंतिम समय में किसी तरह की परेशानी न हो। ईमेल में यह भी कहा गया है कि यदि कोई अनुरोध नीति के अनुरूप स्वीकृत नहीं होता है, तो प्रबंधकों के पास उसमें हस्तक्षेप करने की सीमित गुंजाइश ही होती है।

आईटी सेक्टर में लगातार सख्त होते WFO नियमों को उद्योग में सामान्य स्थिति की वापसी और कार्य संस्कृति में अनुशासन लाने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम माना जा रहा है।
