नस्ल और राजनीति पर टकराव: एलन मस्क और विनोद खोसला के बीच सिलिकॉन वैली में तीखी जंग

भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकी अरबपति और निवेशक विनोद खोसला तथा टेस्ला, स्पेसएक्स और एक्स (पूर्व में ट्विटर) के प्रमुख एलन मस्क के बीच नस्ल, राजनीति और सिलिकॉन वैली की कार्य संस्कृति को लेकर सार्वजनिक टकराव तेज हो गया है। इस विवाद की शुरुआत एलन मस्क के एक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट से हुई, जिसमें उन्होंने दावा किया कि दुनिया भर में श्वेत लोग “तेजी से घटता हुआ अल्पसंख्यक” बनते जा रहे हैं। मस्क के इस बयान ने एक्स पर व्यापक बहस और तीखी प्रतिक्रियाओं को जन्म दिया।

एलन मस्क की टिप्पणी के जवाब में विनोद खोसला ने एक्स पर एक पोस्ट करते हुए उन पर नस्लीय विभाजन को बढ़ावा देने का आरोप लगाया। खोसला ने मस्क की सोच को अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के नारे “मेक अमेरिका ग्रेट अगेन” का विकृत रूप बताते हुए उसे “व्हाइट अमेरिका ग्रेट अगेन” यानी “श्वेत अमेरिका को फिर महान बनाने” की संज्ञा दी। उन्होंने लिखा कि यह ऐसा नजरिया है जिसमें नस्लवाद को “महान और वांछनीय” दिखाने की कोशिश की जा रही है।

विवाद को और आगे बढ़ाते हुए विनोद खोसला ने एलन मस्क की कंपनियों—टेस्ला, स्पेसएक्स और एक्स—में काम कर रहे सभी “गैर-श्वेत कर्मचारियों” और “सम्मानित श्वेत कर्मचारियों” से इस्तीफा देने की अपील की। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि ऐसे कर्मचारी अपनी लिंक्डइन प्रोफाइल खोसला वेंचर्स को भेज सकते हैं, ताकि उन्हें नई संभावनाएं मिल सकें।

एलन मस्क ने भी इस पर तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी और विनोद खोसला की टिप्पणियों को सिरे से खारिज कर दिया। मस्क ने उन्हें “अहंकारी” करार देते हुए नस्लवाद के आरोपों को नकारा। अपने बचाव में मस्क ने कहा कि उनकी पार्टनर शिवोन जिलिस आधी भारतीय हैं और उनसे हुए उनके सबसे बड़े बेटे का नाम भारतीय मूल के प्रसिद्ध भौतिक विज्ञानी सुब्रह्मण्यन चंद्रशेखर के सम्मान में रखा गया है। यह विवाद सिलिकॉन वैली में नस्ल, पहचान और राजनीति पर जारी गहरी बहस को एक बार फिर सामने ले आया है।
